Woke Critical Race Advocates Preach Dogma, Division and Taboo Morality

Updated - Madison, Wisconsin —  I am a "racist," "white supremacist," "Trumpist," "sheep," "rightwinger," wearer of "white hoods" who wants America to return to the 1950s, amid a "white patriarchal" commitment of my writing — a redolent, damning "choice of words" marking me an accredited racist.

I didn't know about any of this before I posted few comments about Critical Race Theory, (CRT) and "(m)y problem with sprawling iterations of CRT is it preaches whites are per force racist, wokists address me as 'white man' and so on."

But it turns out a less-than-courageous band of woke critical race theory zealots, who hide behind pseudonyms on Twitter, have divined the truth about me. 

Not big readers, my suggestions to wokists to read my actual writing on racism elicited no commentary on how evidence tracks with defamation.

No, evidence is about as popular a concept as suggestions to read Norman Cohn's work on blood libel, myth and racism.

My request for evidence did bring further accusations of my being "racist," and assertions that evidentiary requests show how "fragile" and "fearful" I am of the coming end of my "reign."

My initial post on Twitter, replying to an exchange on CRT, again, reads: "Not Marxist. My problem with sprawling iterations of CRT is it preaches whites are per force racist, wokists address me as "white man" and so on. In my city, school district instruct 'whites over here, colored over here' in discussing current events like Floyd murder."

But this next post seemed to elicit no comment: "CRT history is mostly correct, but CRT veers into nonsense in other fields. When I read a wokist, I think of my neighbor, WW II vet, walking his his dog past my home. A man of honor, I listen; he can't stand long these days, so chats are shorter. Bob is white, Bob is no racist."

In any event, the wokists attempted to brand me racist, and cancel me.

"The cancel culture, a witch hunt by self-appointed moral arbiters of speech, has become the boutique activism of a liberal class that lacks the courage and the organizational skills to challenge the actual centers of power — the military-industrial complex, lethal militarized police, the prison system, Wall Street, Silicon Valley, the intelligence agencies that make us the most spied upon, watched, photographed and monitored population in human history, the fossil fuel industry, and a political and economic system captured by oligarchic power," notes Chris Hedges.

Then there's e.m. lake, apparently dispossessed of rational thought, but always ready to shout out, 'you're a racist.'


It's the way it is now with wokists, CRT zealots, and cancel kooks.


You get the picture. The CRT/woke bunch are malicious, petulant, and damaged psyches.

Stay tuned. Most American voters who have worked their lives to become decent, principled people may not like being termed "racist" because of their color.

Then again, one can find solace in Norman Kelly, an independent thinker who won't drink the Kool Aid.

A Call to Boycott Wisconsin Democrats — Party Is over for Nihilistic Gang Defending Wrongful Convictions

Madison, Wisconsin — This is a call for withholding all political and electoral support for Wisconsin Democrats at all levels of government.

This action starts with opposing Gov Tony Evers (D), Attorney General Joshua Kaul (D), U.S. Rep Mark Pocan (D), and all Democrats down to any  state, county and municipal candidates who are silent on the wrongful convictions of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey, and so many others languishing behind bars, ruining and preventing their lives.

The game, this charade, is over, people. 

The Democratic Party is imprisoning innocents and killing black and brown people in broad daylight, then defending these crimes in their elected offices of public trust. Kenosha and Jacob Blake are the norm.

Tony Robinson is the norm. Paul Heenan is the norm. Ashley DiPiazza is the norm. That's just Madison, the civilized place. Look, killer cops cannot operate for long without the support of the Democratic Party. This is the truth staring everyone in the face, and yet we look away.

In Wisconsin, supporters of black and brown folks, and Brendan Dassey and Steven Avery, it's time to pursue opposition to Wisconsin Democrats at all levels of government. This injustice system cannot go on unless we support Evers and Kaul in the political system.

Evers and Kaul know the facts of these innocents in prison, especially Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey.

What escapes bums like Evers and Kaul is no individual life is worth the Democratic Party, especially this Democratic Party.

Over time, we can quickly raise the costs of Party opposition to freeing innocent men and women. 

Even a marginal raising of electoral costs will quickly degrade the Party in Wisconsin. No more support for Democrats, people. We want Brendan and Steven free?

The political system is the pressure point. This is the prominent way in which we pursue change and protect our very lives and liberty, yet many working for the freedom of innocents eschew the political and electoral systems as a means of freeing people who do not belong behind bars.

Most folks in Wisconsin, my state, had they resided in Germany in the 1930s would have made superlative NAZIs, worse -- by-standers. No more.

Has anyone been watching the Derek Chauvin trial on Court TV?

Every witness at the Chauvin trial struggles with the question, 'should they have done more to save George Floyd?' The sadistic pig-cop Chauvin and his buddies did not struggle with any moral question. They viciously terrorized and killed a man.

Watch the sadist Chauvin driving his knee as he looks around and preens on a terrified George Floyd's neck, as he arrogantly flaunts his status as a cop among Minnesota-Nice society. What we do in Wisconsin's Democratic Party is worse, and this sick game must be over now.

Fitchburg, Wisconsin Malarkey — Kierstin Huelsemann and Dorothy Krause

Identity Politics Goes Down the Sewer

Update: Dave Herbst upsets five-term incumbent Ald Dorothy Krause - 375 votes - 323 votes.

Fitchburg, Wisconsin — There was a time not long ago when sticking up for neighbors against home invasions, break-ins, and vehicle thefts was politically axiomatic. 

Everyone was for the sanctity of the home, it didn't matter your politics, beliefs or commitments.

No more, not in Fitchburg.

The Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Spring elections have begun, and a Common Council race for Fitchburg alder district one is drawing attention on this score. 

The candidates are Dorothy Krause (inc) and Dave Herbst.

Herbst is a popular former youth coach, a hard-working old-school guy who helps neighbors all over the district with problems and advice.

Raised on a farm, now a general manager with a utility services company, Dave seems to know a lot about just about everything.

A branch had fallen down over the Winter, and when the snow thawed, I asked Dave if he had a saw I could borrow. Two mornings later before I even had my coffee, I saw Dave outside. He had cut up the whole branch, ready for pick-up.

This exemplifies who he is, and I want this guy on the Fitchburg Common Council, because Dave Herbst really likes to solve problems. 

Last weekend, after a big old couch was dumped on the neighborhood park-basketball court, Dave calls up neighbors and says, let's take an axe to this thing, break it up and get rid of it. Problem solved.

One of the problems Dave is working on now is building strong neighborhoods to defend against the vehicle theft and home break-ins in Dane County. It's bad; Google vehicle thefts Dane County WI.

Turns out the Fitchburg Council incumbent, Dorothy Krause, and her campaign, refuse to criticize the criminals terrorizing the region, and when pressed actually identity with the criminals against the victims.

A Dorothy Krause supporter wrote a pro-Krause piece, and I wrote in reply that the alder was out-of-touch with her constituents and unresponsive to crime victims in the district.

In sum, the families of criminals should be paying their victims, not the other way around.

So, one Kierstin Huelsemann writes in part, "What is funny to me is how you continue to claim to be progressive in your politics while championing inequitable solutions, out dated (sic) narratives, as well as solutions that continue to fail to actually change things in any meaningful way."

This is in reply to my criticizing criminal terrorizing homes. 

I tried again. "You again express no empathy for my neighbors whose homes have been attacked," I write.

The reply: "I really do feel sad that that is where your mindset is. Hopefully one day you will be willing to shift and build your analysis/understanding a bit more," and comprehend "transformative solutions" to the criminals' invasion of homes.

Krause just waves a flag and the Democratic Party comes running.

April 6 is Election Day. If Krause is where the Democratic Party is heading, there is a bad storm brewing.

Is there a candidate who favors a social change model where the a-holes who stole my kids' bikes out of the garage in broad daylight have to give the bikes back and then go to jail where they can't steal anyone else's bikes? Because that person would get my vote.

Fitchburg Residents Defend and Clean Up the Park, Neighborhood

left on residents' and City property in an ongoing battle.

Fitchburg, Wisconsin — In Fitchburg's Jamestown neighborhood, an enclave of beautiful homes with immaculate yards and gardens dot King James Blvd in this city bordering Madison.

The families love their homes and take the interested on tours around the neighborhood with obvious pride. Lovely homes and community though, have become a point of contention.

This is because a small, unorganized group of folks in the same neighborhood adamantly believe in their right to dump garbage, litter in these same lawns and leave old couches and other trash in a nearby park. Outcasts and hooligans, right? Wrong.
They have support from a sitting City Council member and other supporters who regard complaints about the garbage as per force racist is another illustration of how deranged identity politics have become. 

Neighborhood residents have had enough. One resident, Dave Herbst, is running for alder against the pro-garbage-in-your-lawn incumbent, Dorothy Krause.

On a beautiful Saturday morning, Herbst and three neighbors canvassed the neighborhood picking up litter, and breaking up an old, very heavy couch dumped in a neighborhood park next to a basketball court.

The residents expressed disgust with Alder Krause, seen as perpetually defending the vandalism and destruction of a neighborhood she was elected to defend.

Dave Herbst is no stranger to complex municipal policy questions, but he is making this simple fight for clean and safe neighborhood a major plank of his campaign.

Fed-up, these residents literally took an axe to an old couch, and broke it up for the City to pick up, after taking away the bulk.

The pictures and video below chronicle the events of Saturday morning and the larger fight to defend a neighborhood, homes and a way of life.

Dumb Democrats Are Walking into PR Mishap with Jill Biden's Dr Affectation

Jill Biden's insistence on the media calling her Dr is another public relations disaster for Democrats that must bring a smile to the Wall Street Journal's editorial page staff and op-ed writer, Joseph Epstein.

Jill Biden, wife of the plagiarist-in-chief, wants to be called Dr because of her education degree and her PhD thesis, "Student Retention at the Community College Level: Meeting Students’ Needs."

This is the hill Biden and the Democrats wish the Party to die on, not the hugely popular direct-payment COVID relief which Queen Nancy, Joe Biden and the democrats oppose.

Already, the Washington Post and corporatist media are having kittens, though not about the shafting of families.

The Biden administration should — in policy and every communication and every impression — be telling American families how in-touch they are, how much they get it, and understand what families and small business are going through.

Instead, rightwingers are laughing at offended libs who spend time telling Epstein that he is a sexist monster for calling supercilious Jill Biden "kiddo."

Jill Biden has to drop the 'Dr' and educator title from all references.

This need to vest honorary and Doctorate of Education degrees with reverence is the wrong message to voters whether the degree comes from Concordia University or the University of Delaware.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Suggestions for Biden

Updated - Madison, Wisconsin — Here's a few things Joe Biden and Democrats can do before Kamala Harris takes over the reigns of executive power in the ailing president-elect's term.

Some involve communications, some involve policy, all of this political moment. [See also Washington Post, Bill Moyers, and Chomksy in TruthOut.]

Read what I'm saying here, Dems — this will help you. It's written in an eighth-grade level.

In no order:

Jill Biden has to drop the 'Dr' and educator title from all references.

This need to vest honorary and Doctorate of Education degrees with reverence is the wrong message to voters whether the degree comes from Concordia University or the University of Delaware.

Consider that Gov Tony Evers (D-Wisconsin) does not parade his Doctorate of Education degree and identify himself as Dr. Tony Evers. Despite several degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Evers mentions his doctorate in the last graf on his official bio page because he knows folks in small-town Wisconsin, which is to say Wisconsin, retain a revulsion of cant and sticks up rectums, features of Evers that are, anyway, already costing him politically.

Had Evers campaigned as Dr. Tony Evers, we would be suffering the third term of Scott Walker bequeathed to us by Democrat incompetence.

Most Americans do not have college degrees, and associate education (unfairly) with the imbecilic identity politics popular with corporatist Democrats who have labored over the last 40 years to enslave as many black and brown people as possible into a prison "leviathan unmatched in human history," as noted by Glenn C. Loury in Boston Review. (See also Race, Incarceration, and American Values. Glenn C. Loury, with Pamela S. Karlan, Loïc Wacquant and Tommie Shelby.)

So, don't show me your resume, CV or degrees.

Do generalize from this Jill Biden imperative and connect with people living in the world.

Drop the word "conservative" from your vocabulary.

It's a semantical coincidence, but right now and for the near future, the term conservative has positive connotations.

So, stop branding Republicans with positive impressions. Stop saying 'conservatives on the Supreme Court ...,' 'conservatives are ... .'

You know why Frank Luntz, Republican language maven, convinced Republicans to refer to the Democrat Party as the Democrat Party? Because Frank Luntz knows what the hell he's doing.

Treat all liberty claims as sacred. Some white Republican makes a liberty claim, listen to what the hell he's saying. Listen. Then many Republican-voting countrymen will not hate you so much.

The same goes double for minority folks whom the Democrat Party works assiduously to appear to be helping while screwing us over.

As Noam Chomsky writes:

A careful study by political scientist Larry Bartels reveals that Republicans feel that 'the traditional American way of life is disappearing so fast that we may have to use force to save it, and more than 40 percent agree that 'a time will come when patriotic Americans have to take the law into their own hands.'

Trump has also skillfully tapped reservoirs of anger and economic resentment among the working and middle classes who have been subjected to the bipartisan neoliberal assault of the last 40 years. If they feel that they have been robbed, they have good reason. The Rand Corporation recently estimated transfer of wealth from the lower 90 percent to the very rich during the four neoliberal decades: $47 trillion, not small change. Looking more closely, the transfer was primarily to a small fraction of the very rich.

Many Republican-voting Americans know corporations are screwing them, and they also believe the Democrat Party is helping.

Economic populism. Do this. Do economic populism, and as often as practical tell the Democrat donor class to go fuck itself.

Listen to Bernie Sanders and the Squad.

Dems, realize you are kind-of stupid about policy and politics. It's okay. My wife knows little about the complexities of the blitz in football, but she is really brilliant and knowledgeable about just about everything else.

So, know your weaknesses and learn. Economic industrial policy has to be more than policy recommendations, it must be your mission.

Economic, social, racial and environmental justice? These are good things. Do these things.

Just a few more. South American rightwing dictators bad. Democracy good. War bad. Peace good. Classical liberalism good. Oligarchy bad. Bars and restaurants good. Small-business devastation bad.

Joe Biden Needs to Speak the Truth

Madison, Wisconsin — Joe Biden's response to Trump's imprecations during ballot tabulation is apt.

But the time for sophistry and hollow rhetoric — and there is occasion for this — has passed.

Biden's communications sound like a hostage reading a script he neither believes nor understands.

His 'stay-calm' posturing omits mention of the psychopath in the White House, and the lunatic's design on our democratic process.

Just a minor disagreement about priorities while democratic processes work themselves out, Joe?

While Biden's neo-lib speechwriters are vested in a comm strategy that speaks to people like they are a collective group about to leap from a building, candor about what Trump is doing is critical.

We the people can handle the truth, and we would appreciate a president-elect who gets this.

A Wisconsin Victory Feels Like We Are Mourning

Madison, Wisconsin - "Joe may win. But it feels like we lost something important last night," said Andrew Yang on social media this morning.

Yang's sentiment seems widely held here as most of the people I have spoken to seem in mourning despite Biden's apparent victory here, and in the national Electoral College.

There is a major national Party that is racist and hostile to the idea of democracy.

But the Democratic Party's strategic project seems to be sabotaging progressive reformers in service to big money, virtue signaling and identity politics.

This is not healthy for a democratic republic. It's fatal.

"The richest and most powerful country on earth — whether due to ineptitude, choice or some combination of both — has no ability to perform the simple task of counting votes in a minimally efficient or confidence-inspiring manner. As a result, the credibility of the voting process is severely impaired, and any residual authority the U.S. claims to 'spread' democracy to lucky recipients of its benevolence around the world is close to obliterated," writes Glenn Greenwald this morning.

Election Day Is Sedate at Madison, Wisconsin Polls Staffed by Young People

Election Day 2020 - No voters in sight

Updated - Madison, Wisconsin - A beautiful day and young, new faces greeted the veritable trickle of voters observed today.

On the southwest side, two polling places saw barely a trickle of voters at approximately 10 a.m., continuing a quiet morning across the city during this Pandemic election.

Polling workers skewed very young in a radical departure from a typically high number of folks of retired age. 

Increased number of turnout checks reported to the City Clerk includes scheduled counts at 9, 11 in the morning and  1, 4, 6 and 7 in the p,m., a poll worker said. 

The high turnout-reporting is a consequence of the mammoth number of early voting, and the resultant feeding of ballots into tabulators all day.

Some 20 young workers staffing the polls this morning vastly outnumbered observed voters present over a half-hour period at two separate southwest Madison polling sites.

Young poll workers saved this Election today. 

The City Clerk and other election officials have been sending out thank yous for weeks.

One observer and a poll worker say they expect results from the City to come no later than usual on presidential general election day.

Early Voting Begins in Wisconsin

Madison, Wisconsin —  The Meadowridge Library early-voting site on Madison's southwest side saw the first trickle of voters casting their ballots late this morning.

It's a sight sure to annoy Republicans here as much of the early-voting electorate held in disfavor — non-Republicans and minorities — look likely to their cast votes at variance to what the the GOP regards as proper.

Judge Frank Easterbrook, the Republicans' go-to judge on the U.S Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, penned a bizarre opinion in this appellate circuit now overrun with Republican-nominated judges.

Easterbrook writes that statutory discrimination against minorities is not discriminatory if discrete demographics vote in similar political fashion and reside prominently in urban jurisdictions, Luft v Evers; One Wisconsin Institute, Inc. v Jacobs, (Nos. 16-3003, 16-3052), (Marley, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel). 

The opinion, in part, reinstates Republican-enacted restrictions on early, in-person voting. So, early voting began today, instead of late Sept. 

No matter, the massive pro-voting campaign by private and public interests blunts any depressive effect on turn-out here, as envisioned by Easterbrook.


The nonpartisan counteroffensive against Republicans is joined by election clerks in metro voting districts notes In These Times, pointing to public-private partnerships that have emerged in reaction against the Republican Party, (WISC-TV).

This pro-voting phenomenon is a consequence of the most comprehensive and outrageous attack on voting rights in some 50 years by the Republicans.

Nancy Pelosi Is Running out Clock on Stimulus-COVID 19 Relief Negotiation

Two weeks out to Election Day, and Pelosi Postures

Update: Yahoo News: reports: White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said the White House increased its stimulus offer as the Tuesday deadline to get a deal through before the election looms.

"We've increased our offer up to almost $1.9 trillion," Meadows told reporters on Monday morning. "[The president] is willing to give some additional money in terms of direct payments, he's willing to give some additional money in terms of PPP to restaurants and hotels and small businesses."

Update: Nancy Pelosi sets fake 48-hour deadline to kill stimulus bill.

Updated - A problem for American families battling the COVID 19 Pandemic amid a ravaging economy is Nancy Pelosi, Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell do not have to live with the consequences of their actions.

Suppose stimulus-relief negotiations produce nothing.

So what? 

Pelosi, Trump, and McConnell are going to be fine.

They don't sweat deductibles for their healthcare.

All three are millionaires anyway, so they can bail anytime they want, and they're still set, even if the American people did not pay for their pensions.

That is why last week's CNN interview of Nancy Pelosi on the stimulus talks is so jarring.

Pelosi is blatant in her willingness to walk away, and it's clear Pelosi, and not just Pelosi, could not care less what happens to the American people. 

More Democratic representatives are publicly expressing their disgust.

In the interview, Queen Nancy spoke extensively of her respect for Wolf Blitzer and stated Blitzer showed disrespect of Congress and Committee chairs. 

But viewers are left wondering where the American people fit in.

The latest news this weekend on the stimulus talks is not cause for optimism.

Pelosi does not get it, and she remains willing to walk away.

A press aide tweeted the American people will get nothing, or the White House must change its $1.8 Trillion offer.

Mitch McConnell said the Republican-led Senate would "consider" a deal reached between the White House and Pelosi, reports The Hill.

But Pelosi and Trump seem content to drive American families over a cliff.

Oh, for Nancy's edification, the American people care even less about House Committee chairs than they do about the Queen's respect for Wolf Blitzer.

Said Pelosi last week to Wolf Blitzer, "You evidently do not respect the chairman of the committees who wrote this bill."

I know I don't.

Hey, Nancy, Take the Deal; Are You Crazy?

Update: See Congress Has Another Chance to Pass a Stimulus, Democrats need to take it, (Harris, Slate).

Nancy Pelosi is deranged, the real thing.

Faced with the obliteration of the recovery, such as this recovery is, Pelosi is stubbornly refusing to take a $1.8 trillion stimulus, out of concern that this would be a political victory for the president.

Even Wolf Blitzer, no progressive is he, was taken aback by Pelosi's refusal to just take the deal Trump has offered, (Cillizza, Microsoft News).

Here's Blitzer questioning Pelosi:

Blitzer: Even members of your own caucus, Madam Speaker, want to accept this deal, $1.8 trillion, Congressman Ro Khanna for example. But let met just quote Ro Khanna, a man you know well. I assume you admire him. He's a Democrat.

And he just said this. He said "People in need can't wait until February, $1.8 trillion is significant and more than twice the Obama stimulus. Make a deal, put the ball in McConnell court."

So what do you say to Ro Khanna?

Pelosi: What I say to you is, I don't know why you're always an apologist. And many of your colleagues, apologists for the Republican position. Ro Khanna, that's nice. That isn't what we're going to do and nobody's waiting till February.

Listen to the CNN interview, Nancy Pelosi is a crazy person, truly. And this unhinged Speaker is the only person standing in the way of getting $1.8 trillion out of Trump and Mitch McConnell during the COVID pandemic.

Guess Joe Biden's position. Dead silence from the Democratic Party nominee.

In Wisconsin We Don't Care about the 25th Amendment; Pelosi Is Out-of-touch Playing Gratuitous Politics

Madison, Wisconsin — People in Wisconsin are worried about their families, and small-business failure to come on a gargantuan scale.

So, instead of hammering out another COVID stimulus, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) is playing games with rhetoric about the 25 Amendment, continuing a ridiculous personal spat with the president.

In three months Trump is gone, and no Cabinet member is going to sign on to a declaration that he is unfit.

Meanwhile, every economist is issuing dire warnings about that families, landlords, restaurants, taverns, professional-service, essentially everyone except the top few percent are facing catastrophe.

So, Nancy Pelosi gets to insult the lunatic in the White House that he is even more unfit. How does this help us? 

This is a colossal waste of time that tells us, in the words of Krystal Ball, "noone is this town [D.C.] actually gives a shit about the people who are most impacted."

Pelosi is self-absorbed, possessed of an inflated sense of her own personal importance, with a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, and a lack of empathy for what Americans are going through, (Mayo Clinic).

Sound like someone else in high public office?

I'm under no illusions about the White House, but Pelosi needs to focus: We matter, not her, and not her need for gratuitous insult during high national crises.

Update: Madison, Wisconsin — Just heard the Joe Biden TV spot exclaiming "It's a simple proposition, we're all in this together." 

Biden is lying.

It's major lie. Unless you are pouring serious money into Congress and the parties, you are out; you do not count with the Republican and Democratic parties.

Even the most obtuse member of Congress realizes how devastating the recession, COVID 19 and business-as-usual are to families and most Americans.

The COVID 19 relief-stimulus bill did not even come up last night in the veep debate, noone wants to talk about it.

But Democrats and Republicans do not care. They don't, you are not a member of their D.C. club, and you may as well curse the coming Wisconsin Winter.

One would think after Trump walked away from COVID relief talks, that all of Congress would be howling, constantly raising hell, harassing us about this injustice with the frequency of a Mike Lindell My Pillow commercial. 

Outside of a few tweets and a statement or two, instead, we get dead silence and no action from Pelosi and Schumer. 
 
Krystal Ball laid it out yesterday: 
 
I will never forgive Trump for abandoning Americans right now. He was the only person who solely held in his hands the power to get this done. 
 
I don't want to let Pelosi off the hook here either. She decided for electoral gain, she would rather Americans have nothing than to give Trump any kind of a win. 
 
Now, she's probably correct politically. But it is an unconscionable, and frankly psychopathic position. 
 
Trump's position is both politically idiotic and psychopathic cruel. The bottom-line of this recession, which has ultimately dictated the lack of response, is that noone is this town actually gives a shit about the people who are most impacted.
 
This was the most unequal recession of all time, devastating the bottom half of the country, and leaving unscathed, or even benefiting the top echelons of society. If ever you wondered how much the people here actually care about you, you now know in absolutely uncertain terms — they don't.
Now, watch, (because observing and commenting is about all we can do with the two parties), as the United States sinks into another Great Recession, if we're lucky.

Joe Biden Was Weak, Unsteady; Trump Was Rude, and White Supremacist-Loving

Liberals want to protect slow Joe by cancelling the next two debates


The fist two issues debated last night — Roe v Wade and healthcare — are human rights matters, and Joe Biden should have owned them.

Biden was absent, not in the moment, and when presented with Trump's false claim that his nominee to the United States Supreme Court, Judge Amy Coney Barrett, has "unknown" views and intentions on Roe, Biden was silent.

No empathy with a woman's right to choose, no soliloquy on the question of women's health. No declaration of Barrett's record.

Here's the transcript of the end of the exchange on Roe:

President Donald J. Trump: You don’t know her view on Roe V. Wade? You don’t know here view.

Chris Wallace: Well, all right. All right. Let’s talk. We’ve got a lot to unpack here, gentlemen. We’ve got a lot of time. On healthcare, and then we’ll come back to Roe V. Wade.

Vice President Joe Biden: All right.

Trump later continued his love affair with white supremacists and police, both cut from the same cloth.

Trump was loud, abrasive and discourteous.

Joe Biden was no match in this rhetorical theater.

If Biden is elected president, corporate America will be running the show.

Joe Biden will remain a figurehead resembling the character in Weekend at Bernie's (Kotcheff, 1989) more than a president with the knowledge and determination to protect American families.

Led by CNN, liberal pundits are calling for the next two debates to be cancelled, lest Biden be revealed again as a befuddled, kindly old man who stumbled onto the Democratic Party nomination.

Democratic Party May Win in a Rout, or Blow a Historic Election

A Common Effort, or Super-Delegates Will Take It from Here

The Democratic Party should facilitate organizing on a community level—Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Cleveland and so forth—as state Republican governments around the country continue their goal of decimating local democracy.

Local democracy is not just a critical democratic value in itself, it's the key to the composition of the U.S. Senate. See Dreier at The American Prospect, rating Wisconsin number two as a likely party flip of a senate seat in what appears to be a likely Democratic Party retaking of the U.S. Senate.

Think fast, what is the DNC and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin doing right now to facilitate voting in Milwaukee and Racine?

About the only thing that can stop a progressive rout in November is a foolish DNC coronation of Hillary Clinton, telling voters their voices, local organizing efforts and work for their preferred candidates are not needed and super-delegates will take it from here.

This is precisely the message Hillary's lackeys delivered this weekend as Harry Reid engineered a narrow victory in Hillary's alleged impenetrable Nevada firewall.

The folks in Wisconsin (April 5 presidential primary), Ohio (March 15), Florida (March 15) and Pennsylvania (April 26) may not appreciate the communications from the DNC, Hillary Clinton and surrogates their states' presidential primary votes won't count.

If you think general election migrations from nominally Democratic Party-voting people to Donald Trump in a general election are merely anecdotal, you're kidding yourself.

The DNC message to voters to fuck off is not a compelling nor winning message for president and down-ticket in a general election that should be a rout, (Snell, Washington Post).

This is the message of the weekend and apparently for Super Tuesday (March 1) being sent priority mail to a volatile and less-than-trusting electorate.

And Hillary, your name ain't the greatest, you need to be doing it cleaner and better than the other guy, (Fournier, The Atlantic).

Bernie's Plan Will Work

Update: Poll: Trump beats Clinton head-to-head. "Bernie Sanders is closing the Democratic primary gap and is stronger than Hillary Clinton in the general election," David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center, said in a statement.

Hillary Clinton knows the number of frack-you cards sent her way via the American people. They don't like her decades-long embrace of Mega-banks and Health Insurance corporations over people.

What Hillary Clinton will never get is all minorities and the white working class want is an equal shot, what they will get under Bernie Sanders. From Paul Krugman in a graph:

Bernie Sanders takes 48 percent in Nevada, Clinton's acclaimed firewall, and Party insiders are telling the world the game is over for the Democratic Party campaign for the nomination for the presidency.

Who knew two caucuses and one primary make an entire 2016 Democratic Primary? (2106 Primary Schedule)

One slight omission in the Clinton spin, dutifully reported by Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC), is the fact Bernie Sanders overwhelmingly leads in the total of actual people who voted in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada.

Voters may matter in the Democratic Party campaign for the nomination of  the presidency, but not if Hillary and Party insiders get their way.

How do you think this fact would play in a general election against a Donald Trump?

This is Clintonomics math. The same math that is the foundation of the Clinton myth.

As economist Robert Pollin of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst explains in Contours of Descent: US Economic Fractures and the Landscape of Global Austerity, Clintonomics was not all it was cracked up to be. 'The distribution of wealth in the US became more skewed than it had at any time in the previous forty years,' he argues. 'No question, an increasing number of US jobs began to be outsourced at an unprecedented rate as well.'

'Unlike Clinton, Bush is unabashed in his efforts to mobilize the power of government to serve the wealthy,' he continues. 'But we should be careful not to make too much of such differences in the public stances of these two figures, as against the outcomes that prevail during their terms of office … the ratio of wages for the average worker to the pay of the average CEO rising astronomically from 113-to-1 in 1991 under Bush-1 to 449-to-1 when Clinton left office in 2001.'

As for the future, consider Andrew Levine's analysis:

Why would [Hillary] think she needs Obama now?

The short answer is: the South Carolina primary. If the gods are merciful and Hillary gets schlonged there, her chances of winning the nomination will be toast, no matter how many 'super delegates' she currently has in her pocket.

The slightly longer answer is that the Clintons don’t want all their years of flattering and cajoling black politicians to be for naught. They think that African Americans owe them; and indeed many of their notables do. But when the people those notables purport to represent start removing the scales from their eyes and/or if they start thinking of Hillary as a loser, the jig will be up: it will be plain to all that it was all a waste of time and effort.

African Americans in South Carolina forsook the Clintons before, in 2008, but at least that was for one of their own – sort of. If they do it again, it will be for a septuagenarian Jewish man with a Brooklyn accent. This must get Bill and Hillary’s goat.

The Clintons understand identity politics; Hillary is playing that game now to win the votes of women of a certain age. But they have always treated adversaries to their left with contempt. Thanks to the Sanders campaign, Hillary has lately found it expedient to strike leftish poses. Under the skin, though, the old animosities remain.

She and Bill simply cannot abide the thought of being beaten by a 'democratic socialist,' someone who espouses an up-dated version of the old fashioned liberal political line that the Clintons have been working their entire lives to eradicate. They are therefore pulling out all the stops. If that requires strategic extrusions of shameless Obamaphilia on Hillary’s part, so be it.

It wasn’t supposed to come to this. Weeks, even days, ago, the Clintons could reasonably hold fast to the belief that, like the poor (and for much the same reason), African Americans would always be with them.

Now, though, they are starting to wonder if they can trust anybody — black, brown or white — under thirty. They have reason to be concerned: black youths in South Carolina are fast becoming as lucid about the Clintons and Clintonism (Democratic Party style neoliberalism and liberal imperialism) as their white counterparts in Iowa and New Hampshire.

In view of the Clintons’ role in encouraging the mass incarceration of African American men, and their assault on the already feeble welfare state institutions that used to keep oppressed and impoverished African American communities on life support — and in light of their role in forging trade and industrial policies that have decimated the entire American working class — this was bound to happen eventually. But Hillary was counting on it not happening soon. The question now is whether consciousness can dawn quickly enough to throw her off her track.

One would think that she and her handlers could think of a better way to stave the inevitable off than by lauding Obama and vowing to continue his good work.

Hillary Clinton just is not worth that.
