Black Common Council Members Flee from Reason in Madison, Wisconsin

Madison, Wisconsin Alder Juliana Bennett says public
use of word, plantation, harms her as she is a "direct descendant
of enslaved people." Identity politics must die.
Identity Politics Is Destroying Madison Muny Policy

Commentary

Madison, Wisconsin — How does one evaluate propositions in Madison, Wisconsin? By determining how statements of fact make you feel.

Does a voiced conclusion make you feel offended? Proceed no further. Do not read. Do not think, evaluate evidence or employ logic. All that is relevant is you have become offended.

It's that bad in Madison; black Common Council members are the worst offenders. I would argue these howling primates are anti-intellectual, and just plain dumb offenders.

Latest illustration of how much Democratic Party politics and politically correct nonsense have dumbed-down political discourse follows a shit show, reported by Lucas Robinson in the Wisconsin State Journal.

Reports Robinson:

Former three-time Mayor Paul Soglin called the treatment of a group of Black Madison City Council members unaligned with Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway an example of 'plantation politics,' though he [Soglin] later apologized for the comment after it triggered backlash from some Black elected officials in the city.

What's the beef?

Soglin blasted in Facebook what he contends are racist, discriminatory "plantation politics" employed by Mayor Rhodes-Conway because of mayoral Council Committee assignments that resemble work of past urban political machines.

Do you not the problem? That's likely because you are not an idiot.

One hundred and sixty-five years ago, America embraced slavery. Therefore, every black person has a right not be reminded, ever, that this phenomenon was a central social-economic-moral institution of America by publicly uttered words such as "plantation" that evoke slavery.

Reaction of black Council members is swift and sure.

Sabrina Madison, (district 17), said using the word "plantation" during Black History Month is an "attack" on black leadership.

I wish Alder Madison had not used the word, attack, as this violent metaphor triggers me, in the vernacular, flashing me back to my past modest work opposing death squads and third-world fascism.

Then, there's Juliana Bennett (district 2), who cries in Facebook as follows:

As a direct descendant of enslaved people, I find it deeply offensive that a privileged white man like former Mayor Soglin would equate the Mayor's committee assignments, and by extension, my service and that of several Black alders, to plantation politics. This comparison is both ignorant and appalling. It trivialized the brutal history of slavery and disrespects the agency and intellect of Black leaders who serve this city.
Plantation politics refers to a system where white people maintain power by manipulating and using Black people to oppress other Black people. It is a tool of coercion, meant to divide and control. The implication that Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway's committee assignments are an example of plantation politics is absurd. Canit not simply be the case that the Mayor appointed us because we share similar visions for the city? Or the we, as Black alders, were chosen for these positions based on our qualifications, experience, and leadership —rather than some cynical racial calculation?
The real insult here is the suggestion that Black leaders cannot think or act independently and instead must take our marching orders from another white person. Maybe that was true of Soglin’s own relationships with Black leaders in his political circles, but it is certainly not true for me or my colleagues. We are leaders in our own right, not proxies for anyone else’s agenda.
By his own misguided definition of plantation politics, one could argue that it is Soglin himself engaging in it. He is using Black leadership as a tool to sow division and manipulate public perception to serve his own political agenda. His words do not uplift Black alders; they exploit us.
It is clear that the former mayor's goal is not to advocate for Black alders, but to advance his own political grievances. If he truly wanted to support Black leadership, then he would pick up the phone and talk to us—not insult us and spread offensive, misleading narratives.
It is important to note that former Mayor Soglin's claims are simply false. Black alders from various ideological perspectives hold key committee assignments. Ald. Harrington-McKinney serves on the Transportation Commission. Alds. Knox and Myadze, along with former Ald. Carter, serve on the Alcohol License Review Committee (ALRC). These facts directly contradict his inflammatory claims.
Soglin’s comments are offensive, divisive, and completely disconnected from reality. In fact, it is comments like these reduce Black leadership to the color of our skin, ignoring the intelligence, independence, and diversity of thought within the Black diaspora. We are here because we fought for and earned our positions—not because we serve anyone’s agenda but the people of Madison.
Let me be clear, we do not need a privileged old white man who represents an outdated political worldview exemplary of the gerontocracy of today's politics to fight our battles for us. ESPECIALLY DURING BLACK HISTORY MONTH. So please. Keep my name out of your mouth.
You get the picture.

Soglin apologized; he need not have.

Ketanji Brown Jackson's Fraternal Order of Police Endorsement Is Blacked-out

Joe Biden is flanked by woke corporatists as he hypes endorsement
of hate group, Fraternal Order of Police.
Pres Joe Biden hyped the endorsement of a rightwing hate group, the Fraternal Order of Police, in the roll-out of the nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve as Assoc Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.

But this strange communion with a hate group has been blacked-out by every, single elected Democrat and the liberal media.

The uniformity of silence is scary to those who find police violence and its defenders unsettling.

The Biden screw-up should have elicited outrage.

Afterall, the Fraternal Order of Police has openly promoted hate towards Black Lives Matter in Philly, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, the whole country.

Instead, the woke crowd and the media propaganda apparatus falls in line, pretending the Fraternal Order of Police endorsement didn't happen, and that Biden did not really cite this endorsement, and only this group endorsement, yesterday.

Joe Biden is the architect of more cops, inhuman drug wars, against decriminalization of pot, and no Democrat dares to ask why this character picked Ketanji Brown Jackson as nominee.

Biden was an indecent zealot for mass incarceration and no Democrat asks, why Brown Jackson.

Now, we know. Biden and the Fraternal Order of Police, as the leading drug war scumbags, want to continue the American police prison state.

Brown Jackson is a Democrat careerist, and her values are not for civil liberties and human rights. She will promote the Biden's retrograde jurisprudence and make judicial policy, in accordance with imprisoning as many people as possible.

To Biden and the Democrats, mired in the fatuous woke religion, only Jackson's skin color matters, as a selling tool.

The Fraternal Order of Police endorsement is a forbidden subject.

Ketanji Brown Jackson is no progressive, she is a woke corporatist, and she will screw the American people first chance she gets.

Biden Cites Fraternal Order of Police, Law Enforcement and W. Bush to Establish Bona Fides of Court Nominee

Stealth Cop Nominee in Black Face

Updated - The jailer-in-chief Joe Biden did not disappoint today.

Biden cited the rightwing, hate group, Fraternal Order of Police favorably! The Fraternal Order of Police!

Biden nominated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve as Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Those wondering why Ketanji Brown Jackson got their answer.

Biden cited the endorsements by the Fraternal Order of Police, law enforcement and George W. Bush as evidence Brown Jackson is worthy of confirmation. See also Trump's Talk with Police Group Is Fascism Incarnate.

Biden cited no other group's endorsement of Brown Jackson today, delivering a signal she is a cop lover behind her black face.

All woke politics all the time.

But what stands out today is Biden touting law enforcement, including an actual hate group, almost as often as the fact Brown Jackson is "Black" with a literal capital B. See White House.

Paul Ryan Cheerleaded Ketanji Brown Jackson as Federal Appellate Court Nominee in 2012

U.S. Senate Republicans are calling for confirmation hearings today, while Democrats want ratification and consent now for Ketanji Brown Jackson because the Supreme Court nominee is black, and is a woman.

The White House is so enthralled with the nominee's skin color, today's press release capitalizes, "Black," as in, "If confirmed, she will be the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court."

Wow, she must really be Black?

Well, all black people and all woman are represented now because Brown Jackson has black skin and is a woman, right?

Wrong, but Biden wants loyalty and skin color, with a bit of meaningless genetics thrown in.

"I’m looking forward to making sure there’s a Black woman on the Supreme Court to make sure we in fact get everyone represented," said dopey Joe Biden at a debate before South Carolina's Democrat Party primary in Feb. 2020.

There was a time when character and commitment mattered, but those days are gone.

Biden's racist and sexist past and this ridiculous nominee of genetics are now presented to the American people, with the small matter of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary confirmation hearings brushed aside.

Identity politics Democrats are hyping Paul Ryan's 2012 support for Ketanji Brown Jackson for federal appellate judge.

"Our politics may differ, but my praise for Ketanji’s intellect, for her character, for her integrity is unequivocal. She’s an amazing person, and I favorably recommend her consideration," said Ryan at the December 2012 United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary hearing.

To succeed in Democrat Party politics, all you really need is skin color and some other basis to establish identity bone fides.

Ask Biden, and all of the Democrats demanding a coronation based on skin color and sex.

Ask questions, and you engage in "
baseless and racist attacks," says Elie Mystal.

Ketanji Brown Jackson ain't no William O. Douglas. But that's not what's important in Democrat politics.

Voting Rights Appear Doomed; Our Country Remains Ours', If We Want It

Voting Rights Act of 1965: "To enforce the
fifteenth amendment of the Constitution of the
United States, and for other purposes."
Madison, Wisconsin — The United States Supreme Court demonstrated anew the institution is a naked political force intent on ending protections for Americans' foundational right to cast their vote.

The Roberts Court did well for itself this week in Brnovich v Democratic National Committee.

Voting rights, our voting rights, fared poorly, as the Court makes clear that legal claims that our rights are violated, per the Voting Right Act protections, will be met with great skepticism, even judicial hostility.

Rights? Liberties, you say, in federal court? Ha.

Chief Justice John Roberts is a veteran political operative.

No doubt this Summer he is all smiles after a milestone of his political campaign, eight years after five Republican justices on the U.S. Supreme Court invalidated critical sections of the Voting Right Act in Shelby County, Alabama v. Holder in 2013, and other cases contriving the end of racism has arrived in America, Ricci v. DeStefano (07-1428 & 08-328).

Let's not forget how we arrived here.

Identity politics in all of its madness bequeathed to us this ridiculous Court, a legislative-executive branch creating law made-up by nine people, or in Brnovich, six.

After the Democratic National Committee rigged the 2016 Primary, Hillary Clinton won the nomination as the most unpopular nominee in recent history. You see, Democrats would rather virtue-signal than win.

That's three nominees to the high court delivered to a White House lunatic, including Ruth Bader Ginsberg who made the idiotic decision to stay on the Court, as liberals celebrated her "obstinacy as a sign of female empowerment," as noted by Shant Mesrobian.

The evisceration of the Voting Rights Act by our country's supreme branch of government towering over the other two branches, now forces field and policy work despised by the Democratic Party.

The Democratic Party three main constituencies are corporate largess, law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

All three interests make exorbitant claims their interest alone should predominate over the American government.

Now, a branch of government, the judiciary, that declares itself supreme in its holdings nullifies even the ratification rights of the peons whose liberty interests lurks in the shadows of the powers that be.

Happy Independence Day 2021.

Woke Critical Race Advocates Preach Dogma, Division and Taboo Morality

Updated - Madison, Wisconsin —  I am a "racist," "white supremacist," "Trumpist," "sheep," "rightwinger," wearer of "white hoods" who wants America to return to the 1950s, amid a "white patriarchal" commitment of my writing — a redolent, damning "choice of words" marking me an accredited racist.

I didn't know about any of this before I posted few comments about Critical Race Theory, (CRT) and "(m)y problem with sprawling iterations of CRT is it preaches whites are per force racist, wokists address me as 'white man' and so on."

But it turns out a less-than-courageous band of woke critical race theory zealots, who hide behind pseudonyms on Twitter, have divined the truth about me.

Not big readers, my suggestions to wokists to read my actual writing on racism elicited no commentary on how evidence tracks with defamation.

No, evidence is about as popular a concept as suggestions to read Norman Cohn's work on blood libel, myth and racism.

My request for evidence did bring further accusations of my being "racist," and assertions that evidentiary requests show how "fragile" and "fearful" I am of the coming end of my "reign."

My initial post on Twitter, replying to an exchange on CRT, again, reads: "Not Marxist. My problem with sprawling iterations of CRT is it preaches whites are per force racist, wokists address me as "white man" and so on. In my city, school district instruct 'whites over here, colored over here' in discussing current events like Floyd murder."

But this next post seemed to elicit no comment: "
CRT history is mostly correct, but CRT veers into nonsense in other fields. When I read a wokist, I think of my neighbor, WW II vet, walking his his dog past my home. A man of honor, I listen; he can't stand long these days, so chats are shorter. Bob is white, Bob is no racist."

In any event, the wokists attempted to brand me racist, and cancel me.

"
The cancel culture, a witch hunt by self-appointed moral arbiters of speech, has become the boutique activism of a liberal class that lacks the courage and the organizational skills to challenge the actual centers of power — the military-industrial complex, lethal militarized police, the prison system, Wall Street, Silicon Valley, the intelligence agencies that make us the most spied upon, watched, photographed and monitored population in human history, the fossil fuel industry, and a political and economic system captured by oligarchic power," notes Chris Hedges.

Then there's e.m. lake, apparently dispossessed of rational thought, but always ready to shout out, 'you're a racist.'

It's the way it is now with wokists, CRT zealots, and cancel kooks.

You get the picture. The CRT/woke bunch are malicious, petulant, and damaged psyches.

Stay tuned. Most American voters who have worked their lives to become decent, principled people may not like being termed "racist" because of their color.

Then again, one can find solace in Norman Kelly, an independent thinker who won't drink the Kool Aid.

Working Families Eviscerated as Biden, Democrats Hold Fundraisers amid Silence on Stimulus

Horror stories from coast to coast abound as families are devastated by lack of healthcare, jobs, safe water, and food.

But that was before COVID 19.

Now, Democrats and Republicans are playing games to kill major stimulus relief.

And there is no Medicare for All, Green New Deal, Student Loan Forgiveness or any major jobs programs in the political offing in 2021.

That's because Donald Trump, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden are all committed to killing progressive legislation, and for the same reasons — Wall Street, health insurance companies and other huge donor interests such as real estate. Google "Biden holds $1000,000 fundraiser" and scan the voluminous results.

Bernie Sanders and Michael Moore are warning Biden's handlers not to shaft American families again.

Their warnings fall on deaf ears.

How out-of-touch is Joe Biden? Consider healthcare.

Biden and his consultants believe that because the former senator and vice president received free, tax-payer-financed healthcare for his family through the Federal Employees Health Benefits program, it follows that the American people should not be obtain the same tax-payer-financed healthcare for their families.

Explains Joe Biden in his healthcare spot
that seems to run as often in Wisconsin as Mike Lindell's My Pillow ads: "HealthCare is personal to me."

Joe Biden does not have to live with the same worries of working families.

Biden doesn't stress about deductibles, exclusions, massive debt and bankruptcies.

He just takes in corporate America's millions and screws American families, as Democrats say, thank you.

In his ad, Biden ironically takes a dig at health insurance companies, the same companies that finance his campaign for president and every elected office he has sought, more than any other Democratic Party candidate in 2019-2020, (In These Times).

Biden's dishonest and ridiculous stance on healthcare evokes defeated Gov Scott Walker's (R-Wisconsin) infamous "I care too much about the people of this state" to allow them to enroll in Medicaid, federal money already allocated.

COVID 19

Joe Biden has been in office for several decades so comparisons with the Trump administration should be formulated as Trump resembles Biden in considering policy stupidity in COVID 19 response.

In late Oct, Trump issued a sweeping moratorium on residential evictions through the Centers on Disease Control and Prevention.

The moratorium seems a rare bold, public health initiative. It's not and it exemplifies policy not even approaching half-measure value on a still-growing crisis.

What a massive stimulus bill should do to address this swath of policy is send federal money directly to landlords to pay for tenants in need of help.

The subsidy could can be free, or payback without interest or whatever. This would solve the problem for the tenants, the landlords, the banks and the coming worst-yet liquidity crisis.

In context, the moratorium is dishonest. Tenants in need are just pushing off eviction until after Jan 1 because after that they’ll be expected to come up with a pile of money for back-rent, penalties and they won’t have it.

If Trump were smart, he'd push, as he is able, a major stimulus legislation that includes a residential landlord stimulus.

But comprehensive public policy solving crises is not what Trump, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden do.

They all play political games and likely Democratic Party officeholders will receive a new memo advising Dems to blame everything on the Russians.

Democracy Not Democrats; Liberation Not Liberalism

'When people tell you who they really are, believe them'
— Saagar Enjeti

The Democratic Party has become irredeemably awash in corporate money, permanent-war interests and the baleful vacuity of identity politics; it should be blown apart and left to scatter.

Reformers such as Bernie Sanders and the Squad are marginalized, censored and defamed by corporate networks so thoroughly that Joe Biden does not even pretend to address their overwhelmingly popular policy platform.

So ideologically brainwashed in identity politics is the Democratic Party and allies that I recently could not elicit an admission from two local Madison, Wisconsin activists that the racist conception of human beings that classifies homo sapiens into discrete races and sub-species is nonsensical raciology.

The Democratic Party is corrupt and ideologically steeped in pseudoscience.

The Biden administration will eviscerate the American people and do nothing for the concerns of people v Wall Street.

By the way, Senate Democrats killed a stimulus bill today that could have been a negotiating starting point for another round of stimulus checks.

From The Hill comes news shows Biden's giving away the game already, news you will not hear on MSNBC and CNN, or anywhere near the shelters of identity politics safe zones:
