U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Targets Activists for Political Views

Trump is keeping us safe from brown people with
disloyal political views, probably flag-haters too.

ICEing the disloyal among us

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, (ICE) agency is a favorite of President* Trump's.

Ignorant and hateful, ICE is leading the way to making America white again.

Nick Pinto from The Intercept has the story:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is unconstitutionally using its power to suppress political dissent by targeting outspoken immigration activists for surveillance and deportation, according to allegations in a federal lawsuit filed on Friday by immigration rights groups.
'Defendants have investigated, surveilled, harassed, raided, arrested, detained, and even deported these activists in order to silence them,' the complaint alleges. 'This sharp spike in immigration enforcement specifically targeting the most vocal immigration activists is intended to stifle dissent.'
Think fascism is not here just yet.

Surf the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, (ICE) site and you will be disabused of this notion.

At the ICE site, readers are treated to the Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) Office. VOICE, that's a catchy acronym.

If you wish, you can use the toll-free, ICE tip-line number and report facts about suspected "criminal aliens" among us.

One can identify these scary aliens because they are brown, with a piercing, hate-America visage.

ICEing, the federal equivalent of SWATTING, is also an exciting, new activity that loyal, white Americans can do anywhere with phone service.

See one of those brown, civil liberties types? ICE em. That will teach the tacos to be outspoken in our country.

Readers can also learn to display a National Terrorism Advisory System widget on their websites.  Just follow the link with our glorious, American flag.

Thank you, Donald Trump for keeping us safe.

Senators Force GOP Hand to Open Government, Vote on Immigration

From NBC News:

Trump Shutdown Continues as White Supremacist-in-Chief Goes MIA

Hundreds of thousands marched against fascism across
America over the weekend, (Twitter).

White supremacist messaging accompanies the Trump shutdown

Updated - President* Trump looks like someone who hates football and got stuck at a Super Bowl party where he fails at hiding his contempt for the game beyond railing against non-whites he sees on TV.

America's leading white supremacist achieved his shutdown and his desired state of crisis.

Now, Trump and white supremacists charge those opposing government by racist spasm are complicit in murder for opposing Trump and the White Party, and our great military.

The stench of fascism is overwhelming. Every journalist should be rereading Norman Cohn and Milton Mayer.

The White House and its collaborators dished out racist messages over the weekend charging that more non-whites are pouring into our country to kill us as the abschaum, (anti-NAZIs), forces accumulate support among disloyal Americans.

But Trump would prefer not to engage beyond Tweeting; so he lets the openly racist and uber-nationalist Stephen Miller take point.

Reports NBC News this morning:

In the 56 hours and counting since the federal government has been shut down, President Trump hasn’t held a public event and isn’t scheduled to have one today. He hasn’t spoken with reporters or even left the White House. And he hasn’t been a real player in the negotiations to reopen the government.

Bottom line: Trump, who campaigned for the presidency on his deal-making skills, has been missing in action.

All Trump can do is emit words.

This lunatic cannot think on his feet and cannot hold coherent positions over time beyond racist hate.

So we have the White Party demonizing non-whites as most of the country looks on in disgust at Republicans' gutting anything serving the 99 percent.

Fascists, incompetents, and lunatics are running our country after creating the budgetary crisis.

Bernie Sanders, the leading voice in Congress against the Trump regime, offers words of wisdom that the White House staff likely cannot comprehend.

Fascist America Remains a Grave Danger, Giant Step Backwards Looms

Madison, Wisconsin—Fascism is here in the United States, and has been since our nation's birth.

In our country built upon slavery, social dominance, and enduring, widespread imbecilic conceptions of race, fascism is a defining feature of America, an exercise in domestic terror.

If you're a black person at, or past adolescence walking, driving, shopping or breathing, there remains an expectation of police harassment, perhaps prison, and death-by-cop is a distinct possibility. [Note to black readers: Avoid Fitchburg, Wisconsin, in Dane County.]

Carving out a career while advocating human rights risks jail time and death in America; ask colleagues and friends of the late Sandra Brand, driven to suicide by Texas police.

Occasional massacres and 1,000-plus annual police killings are the norm, not tragic anomalies, (Kantrowitz, Mal Contends). But as President* Donald Trump struts and fumbles about, fascism can become much worse, taking us back as the last 60 years have more-or-less seen forward strides in human rights.

So, when Trump makes sadistic public appeals as the chief executive, the terror that Trump strikes is a familiar experience to a lot of Americans.

It matters what a president says. It matters that Trump minimized the Holocaust in one of his first public statements.

This lunatic is dangerous and in virtually every policy sphere is a public menace.

Today, every American should be ready with a plan to support Robert Mueller.

America already is a police state in many municipalities with occupying forces politically aligned with Trump.

Consider what is the predictable reaction of Trump to a criminal indictment of any member of his family or Trump himself? A lunatic in the White House is capable of inflicting much damage to our country.

Democrats and proponents of the experiment that is America need to stand up for the values and standards that animate their popular movements.

This means actively supporting Robert Mueller. This means actively speaking against Roy Moore.

That means speaking up loudly against Republican efforts to repeal and replace the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, to pass a tax cut that will greatly benefit the wealthiest corporations and individuals, as a prelude to devastating Social Security and Medicare.

Democrats are not adept at getting their messages across to the American people.

Sure, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and sometimes Joe Biden speak eloquently on the ideals that make America great.

But the messages of Steve Bannon and Donald Trump must resonant louder or at least hit more chords with a majority or Trump wouldn't be sitting in the Oval Office and Bannon would not be getting Republicans to support the child-molester, Roy Moore.

The lights are blinking red.

Victim of Assassination Attempt, Rep. Scalise, Was Linked with White Supremacist from Louisiana

In 2014, anti-racst voices rightfully mocked Scalsie claim the
GOP leader didn't know David Duke is a white supremacist
(Huffington Post)
Amid calls for unity following the attempted assassination of Republican congressional members, come reports noting Rep. Steve Scalise publicly addressed the white supremacist and KKK-linked gathering, the David Duke-led European-American Unity and Rights Conference in 2014, headed by a former Grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, (Reuters), (MSNBC- 2014).

The Southern Poverty Law Center notes Duke is "most recognizable figure of the American radical right, a neo-Nazi, longtime Klan leader and now international spokesman for Holocaust denial."

Duke is currently online defending Scalise against what he terms "Vile, Anti-White Media Hatred"on Duke's website.

The same year Scalise addressed the European-American Unity and Rights Conference, 2014, Scalise was elected House Republican Party Whip, (CNN).

As Republican Party leaders call for unity, it behooves them to explain that this means all Americans, and not just European-white Americans working together against ethnic minorities.

Meanwhile, a Wisconsin Republican state legislator, Jesse Kremer, says criticism and parody of Donald Trump made the assassination attempt "predictable," (Democurmudgeon), (Associated Press).

Trump continued the Republican Party's message of racial taunts and racist dog whistles in campaign 2016 carrying whites by a 21-point margin, (Pew Center, Independent).

Until Republican Party leaders renounce and reverse their white supremacist message and platforms, their calls for unity ring as hollow as a Republican complaint about the availability of the weapon the attempted assassin used for his rampage.

Republicans Target Americans

Most Americans remain blissfully ignorant of the Republican Party project.

The Republicans do not want democracy, human rights, civil liberties, social justice, safe drinking water, clean air, senior care, education, nor healthcare. One can on listing all the humane benefits of a civilization that so troubles Republicans.

Yet, the American corporate media will not offer much help in reporting the anti-people, white party as the anti-people, white party. This accurate reporting goes against the contemporary journalistic conventions of balance, and neutrality to facts of public policy. (Never has there more reason to jettison this ludicrous and nihilistic posture.)

Kate Aronoff at In These Times lays bare the facts of Republicans in her The GOP Is Trying to Kill You - With Donald Trump at the helm, Republicans are readying to unleash holy hell through public policies.

[Y]es, politics have been deadly for some time. But the Republicans—with Donald Trump at the helm—are about to start playing the most dangerous game en masse. The 17 people Trump has tapped for his Cabinet or for posts with Cabinet rank are, together, more wealthy than the poorest 43 million American households combined. If the U.S. government has ever been poised to look like The Purge series’ ruling New Founding Fathers of America, it’s now. And if you don’t have the benefit of being in this country’s top income brackets, the leadership wants you dead.

These are the stakes. The urgency of the moment beckons.

We’re going to the ice-cream factory! There will be a terrific, new health-care plan there

Virginia's White Supremacist Republicans Fight Voting Rights

From the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Virginia Republicans are fighting tooth-and-nail to stop the restoration of voting rights of 100,000s of mostly black Virginia citizens.

"Virginia's 1901-1902 constitutional convention, which set up poll taxes, literacy tests and disenfranchisement for felons as barriers for African-American participation," is cited by election law scholar, A.E. Dick Howard, professor at the University of Virginia School of Law, who consulted with Gov. Terry McAuliffe in McAuliffe's continuing efforts to restore the voting rights of Virginians, (Nolan, Times-Dispatch).

As long as black Americans can vote, white supremacists in the Republican Party across the nation will do their worst to impede voting rights, often employing the deplorable tactics of Jim Crow-era laws and state constitutions like Virginia's.

Notes Laura Vozzella in the Washington Post: "Virginia is one of only a few states that permanently disenfranchise felons, a practice that McAuliffe and other Democrats trace back to the Jim Crow era since it disproportionately affects African Americans."

Virginia offers one example.

Wisconsin is another.

From the Beloit Daily News:

... A trial was held this week in federal court dealing with Voter ID and various other elections changes enacted since 2011. The plaintiffs argue the changes, taken together, suppress the votes of minorities, young people and others, particularly in urban areas. Several expert witnesses presented the results of academic studies supporting that argument.

But perhaps the most interesting testimony came from a former Republican aide to a Wisconsin senator who later chose not to seek re-election when his term expired. The aide testified to being present in a closed Republican caucus when legislators originally discussed passing the Voter ID bill. He said senators were 'giddy' at the prospect of what such a law could do to curtail turnout among certain groups of citizens, predicting it would make it easier for Republicans to win future elections.
Wherever black folks vote, and Republicans rule the state legislature, no voter is safe.
