Moyers Slams Rightwing

Bill Moyers eviscerates the rightwing, calling it a fountain of ignorance.

Makes for some late-Summer fun reading, including Garry Wills' review of Sam Tanenhaus' The Death of Conservatism.

I know many rightwingers. Certainly, not all are benighted bigots.

But the anti-intellectualism of the right wing is undeniable.

Without the specific support from and appeal to racism and hate, the American right wing as embodied in the Republican Party simply would not exist today.
