Making a Murderer — Attorney Enlists DNA Expert, Files Major Motion in State Appellate Court for New DNA Tests

New DNA Results Could Devastate Prosecutors' Case, Already Exposed as Framing Innocents


Madison, Wisconsin — Millions around the world looking for justice for wrongfully convicted Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey received encouraging news today from Kathleen Zellner, a post-conviction attorney who is considered the most successful human rights worker in overturning wrongful convictions.

Zellner made an announcement today on social media, Twitter, after filing a motion in Wisconsin appellate court to remand the Avery case so advanced DNA testing can be performed by newly retained DNA expert, Dr. Richard Selden.

Zellner represents Steven Avery who has now been wrongfully convicted of two homicides after being framed by corrupt Manitowoc County police and prosecutors, the subject of Making a Murderer docuseries sensation.

If this testing is allowed, we believe the bones will be Ms. Halbach's," reads a Zellner Twitter communication followed by an extensive question-and-anwser session. "[The DNA tests] will prove the murder and mutilation occurred in the Manitowoc County Gravel Pit and the bones were planted in Mr. Avery's burn pit to frame him."
