Single-payer, universal health care used to be a pillar of Democratic Party candidates for the presidency.
Not anymore, at least not with Hillary Clinton.
As Clinton's poll numbers are dropping, (not coincidentally when more voters are paying attention a couple of weeks from the Iowa caucuses), Clinton and surrogates have smeared, lied and defamed.
We've seen this show before in the 2008 Democratic primary.
See J Ash Bowie at Kos for details.
And as in 2008, watch Hillary this week, and then take a bath.
The Nation today endorsed Bernie Sanders.
Hillary does have the health insurance companies' trade associations locked down, (Jilani, The Intercept).
