Iraq and Afghanistan War Facts

This is why we don't want an administration with D.C. experience over good sense and sound judgement:

From Veterans for Common Sense (VCS) e-mail:

- 300,000 Injured and Ill Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan Wars

- Cumulative U.S. service members deployed: 1,641,894

- Diagnosed with a mental health condition: 120,049 (40% of patients)

- Veterans diagnosed with PTSD: 67,717 (23% of patients)

Consider other costs such as millions of Iraqis dead, wounded, traumatized and displaced, trillions of U.S. dollars, the enmity of an entire region, and one can see why a John McCain or a Hillary Clinton is an awful prospect for the next president.
