Suppose you saw your friend crushed to death by this C-54 military aircraft (pictured at right). Any chance that you might have a problem with the death?
Airman Keith Roberts has filed his reply brief in his effort to overturn the government's conviction punishing this Vietnam-era vet's seeking PTSD-related health benefits.
Roberts is serving a 48-month sentence on federal wire fraud charges involving his experience watching and trying to prevent the death of his friend in 1969 who was crushed to death by a C-54 aircraft at a Naval Air Facility in Naples, Italy.
Details of the brief will be posted tomorrow.
Oral arguments will likely be scheduled this autumn.
