Iran Does Not Trust US
As the Bush administration rattles its sabers at Iran, it's worth noting how that the people of Iran do not trust Bush's motives. And bombing and invading people who do not trust your motives tend to lead to less than happy consequences.
Some highlights from Akbar Ganji in the Boston Review:
American policy has focused on advancing America’s own economic interests and military supremacy.
American policy has been a major factor in modern Iran’s stalled political and economic growth.
American policy has fostered a military mentality in Iranian political life.
