Madison, Wisconsin — The future of policing in America seems as bleak and hopeless as the Vietnam War in 1969.

That's because police presented as reformers still abstain from recognizing and publicly characterizing the most vicious acts perpetrated upon the citizenry, and thus our republic.

Madison, Milwaukee and Minneapolis instruct.

The Madison Police and Fire Commission decided to reject the advice of human rights groups, and instead selected a new police chief in open defiance of community concerns of racism, and perceived adversarial posture of cops and police unions (The Capital Times, Community Response Team, Madison Wisconsin (Facebook)).

In Milwaukee, a corrupt judge, Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Christopher Foley, reversed the Milwaukee Police and Fire Commission's decision to demote an authoritarian Police Chief, Alfonso Morales. 

Morales is threatening federal litigation to get as much money out of Milwaukee tax-payers as possible, a pursuit joined by police political forces bleeding the beleaguered city best known for segregation and criminal police (Racine Journal-Times).

In Minneapolis, the new police chief, Medaria Arradondo, says he want to build trust between cops and the very community that cops have abused, but says nothing about making the department worthy of that trust (Minneapolis Star-Tribune).

Arradondo calls the George Floyd suffocation murder at the hands of racist cops, "tragic," writing "in the wake of the tragic death of George Floyd ... ." 

This passive-voice noting of a police killing reads as though George Floyd died at the hands of benign, third-party circumstances, and not the murderous organization Arradondo has led since 2017.

Arradondo does not take responsibility for what these cops did or acknowledge his own role in cultivating the human garbage in blue.

Meanwhile, in Madison retired Madison Police Chief Noble Wray has been picked by the Democrat Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul to determine if the racist Kenosha cop Rusten Sheskey's shooting Jacob S. Blake seven times in the back merits criminal charges, after reviewing the Dept of Justice investigation by cops, for cops, (Wisconsin DoJ).

Not one of these administrative cops have any moral authority. Not one has accurately described what police have become in American society: Murder clubs, and right-wing political machines feasting on the community with violence.

The time for reforming police is over. 

One step away from the unacceptable status quo is a new policy mandating that cops will not administer cops locally, and will not investigate cops for the simple reasons that cops cannot be trusted, should not be trusted.

Only civilians with records of human rights and civil liberties work are capable of stopping this brutal and violent force that tries to emulate a military organizational force and views citizens as objects.

Madison, Wisconsin — In police-state America, police are just as destructive, and just as deadly as before the moment Minneapolis Police killed George Floyd in May.

The Spring-Summer seems a long time ago, doesn't it? Not to Jacob Blake.

Republicans and Democrats are unified in their defense of police as an institutional and violent check on black and brown people asserting their humanity.

Take Wisconsin. Not one Democratic legislator has introduced legislation on decarceration, decriminalization, police violence and police defunding. And there are no calls for these protections against police.

I can't think of another state more sorely in need of a police cleansing than Wisconsin. 

To be clear, police will kill you, will terrorize you, will ruin you financially, imprison you, and defame you. There are no limits, and Democrats will do nothing. 

Not even a letter to the local daily calling for defense of people against police.

A Milwaukee State Senator — the drug warrior and anti-Black Lives Matter Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) — traveled to Madison in June to confront Black Lives Matter liberation protestors, worked to record and virtually deliver the liberation workers to rightwing doxxers, was confronted by marchers and after a melee, embarked on a mission to imprison as many Black Lives Matter workers as possible.

White supremacists have doxxed, (publish private or identifying information about a particular individual on the Internet, typically with malicious intent), and endangered liberation protesters across the country, so folks were nervous that late June night, perfect prey for Carpenter looking for attention.

The racist Carpenter then went on a political rampage against people of color.

He accosted and maligned a black candidate for the Democratic Party nomination for State Senate District 26 in Dane County, before being forced to issue a public apology in July.

Carpenter, a cop lover, co-sponsored a bill to expand the Wisconsin Criminal Code to criminalize any damage to statues, statues!, (not black people, open season remains).

The black candidate maligned by Carpenter, Nada Elmikashfi, objected to the proposed legislation and an enraged Carpenter became unhinged and went on a rant that Carpenter later described as "rash and reactionary."

Writes Elmikashfi on July 16, commenting on Carpenter's co-authorship of his Senate statue bill initiative:

"Get me in the senate so I can block this absolute bullshit. You shouldn’t have been assaulted Senator Carpenter; but that doesn’t mean you get to block our civil rights movement. If this is passed on a bipartisan basis; @GovEvers needs to veto it. #BlackLivesMatter."

Carpenter is known around the capitol for his dislike of women, especially women of color. 

Carpenter went apoplectic, resulting in a multi-day rant that concluded with the intercession of the state Party Chair and the Senate Minority Leader criticizing Carpenter who eventually apologized, (The Capital Times).

At the June Black Lives Matter march, Carpenter faked a collapse in front of WKOW-TV at the capitol, and began his major media campaign demonizing Black Lives Matter. Not defending.

This fake collapse was preceded by Carpenter's hollered conversation, as the state senator spoke with several protests medics and peacekeepers in an eight-minute conversation captured on audio, (Pittman/WORT News), that shows Carpenter declining medical attention before faking his collapse.

Carpenter, who takes his antipathy towards black people to extremes, is nevertheless emblematic of the Democrat Party nationally.

Writes AOC yesterday:

She says Dems' problem is a weak party operation that needs to become "stronger and more resilient to Republican attacks."

Meanwhile, Carpenter and Dane County continue their ridiculous criminal pursuit of the Black Lives Matter protesters Kerida O’Reilly and Samantha Hamer, two socially conscious area women in their 20s with no criminal records, stand accused of the felony crime of Substantial Battery with Intent to Cause Bodily Harm against State Sen. Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) for not-even-alleged action at a June 23-24 Black Lives Matter protest.

That's right. Carpenter says in Court he never saw the two women never even touch him at the June Black Lives Matter protest and yet he claims he knows they're guilty of Battery and wants them charged (they are charged), and convicted.

Hey, the two women are Black Lives Matter supporters so no evidence needed to convict, say Carpenter and his Democrat Party allies.

Legally, the cases of Black Lives Matter protesters Kerida O’Reilly and Samantha Hamer will blow up in the faces of the Democrat Party.

Politically and morally, we as a community have already lost because we did not do enough to stand up for these two brave women.

So, faced with a corrupt district attorney's office, a racist State Senator Tim Carpenter, and a supine Democrat Party, we as a community can protest, write, and alert the community that two more civil rights workers are about to suffer another injustice through the continuation of this ludicrous prosecution.

Kerida O’Reilly and Samantha Hamer attended a routine hearing last week. The cases have not been yet dismissed yet.

Folks can contact State Sen Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) to ask why he rejects decarceration, decriminalization, police defunding. As we work with our historic movement, Carpenter instead sponsors a bill expanding criminal code to protect statues and works to persecute two innocent Black Lives Matter workers.

I am aware that you do not know how, and by whom and with what force violence was inflicted in the confrontation among Tim Carpenter and depending on whom you believe — the police quote a journalist saying some ten people, you say two people — and those who may be criminally responsible.

Did these two women use their elbows, fists, feet, head, or blunt instruments? You have no idea, yet you are charging them with being party to substantial battery by undetermined persons, a "group," as Carpenter told police.

Are you satisfied with Carpenter's credibility?

Did you know Mr Carpenter did not request medical assistance after speaking with protest medic and peacekeepers, as indicated in audio published by WORT News.

Did you know that after a WKOW-TV crew member phoned 911, Carpenter declined to go to the hospital?

Democrats' New Party Slogan Should Be "Deterring Democracy"

Madison, Wisconsin — The Democratic Party has an urgent problem: How to appear to address racism without doing anything to upset American oligarchy, and its deadly police-prosecutor-prison state.

If you are a Democrat, you need not be concerned.

Democrats are the heavyweight champs of doing nothing as the Party virtue-signals, deploys Clintonite media mascots — Zerlina Maxwell, Neera Tanden, Joy Reid, Rachel Maddow, for example, — and takes a deep dive into identity politics with Joe Biden leading the ticket.

Take Wisconsin Democrats.

There's State Sen. Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee), who described himself as rash and reactionary, co-sponsoring legislation to protect statues, and pressing trumped-up criminal charges against two Black Lives Matter protesters whom Carpenter admits are innocent. 

There's the successful state Democratic effort to kick the Green Party off the Wisconsin ballot as Rachel Maddow and local media suggest civil rights and the First Amendment have no force because Dems perceive the Green Party as a "scam," to use Maddow's description. 

Not one state Democrat dissented from this anti-democratic action toward the Greens, and the outlandish and narcissistic defamation of the Greens by Rachel Maddow.

In Wisconsin's leading Democratic newspaper, there's a piece this morning on the police-by-proxy phenomenon. But the story immediately falls into the identity politics-bias pit dooming understanding beyond a politically correct analysis that falsely pretends to a new and incisive understanding of human nature.

Statues, People and the Democratic National Convention

Madison, Wisconsin — This site will include reporting, analysis and commentary on the public crucifixion and state prosecution of two women who attended a Black Lives Matter protest in Madison in June, and an unusually fetid state senator, Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee), who pursues black people and their allies with a fanaticism that would make Joe McCarthy blush with shame.

That this Wisconsin pursuit of human beings by Democrats, for Democrats continues during the Democratic National Convention at the expense of our country's greatest liberation movement in 50 years ought at least to draw attention to the paucity of evidence in these criminal cases.

Amid this massive liberation movement for black lives, the Wisconsin legislature has acted swiftly and surely in a bipartisan fashion to protect ... statues. Naturally, Tim Carpenter is front-and-center in this pursuit while reminding the world that he knows some black people who are among his friends and mentors. 

I wonder which mentor taught Carpenter to consider why statutes are more important than black lives.

Carpenter exemplifies how much the Democratic Party has become the national security, law enforcement Party.

Democrats love the idea of state oppression of anyone holding to views, such as Black Lives Matter, that are unorthodox to the Party consensus.

Bear this in mind when Party talk against Trump continues this week at the Convention.

State Sen Tries Case Against Black Lives Matter Defendants in Media

Prosecution Protects Tim Carpenter's Problem with POC and Women

Madison, Wisconsin — State Sen Tim Carpenter (D-Miluwakee) is rash and reactionary, and that's what he says about himself.

A development in Carpenter's ongoing battle against people of color and women signals a problem for the racist Wisconsin legislator and the Dane County District Attorney's office.

"[Madison Police] have not released any surveillance camera images, as they did in other recent cases that led to arrests in the June 24 attack on state Sen. Tim Carpenter, D-Milwaukee," reports the Wisconsin State Journal. 

The is significant because Carpenter's crusade against Black Lives Matter, most recently in SpectrumNews1 in an August piece, is necessary to buttress an outlandish case against two women whom Carpenter accuses of substantial battery.

Carpenter has worked his entire legislative career mobilizing the war on drugs against people of color, presaging his confrontation at a late-night Black Lives Matter Madison protest in June, an affair in which Carpenter is using police to take the side of white supremacists who routinely dox liberation protesters.

Carpenter claims several people attacked him, but also notes he cannot identify any of his alleged assailants.

That's right, the alleged victim, Carpenter, cannot identify the defendants as touching him.

No eyewitness has identified the accused as laying a hand on Carpenter. Madison police detective Linda Trevarthen confirmed these facts at an August hearing, (Rickert,  Wisconsin State Journal).

And to this date, no video exists has been made public showing the accused as laying a hand on Carpenter, reports the Wisconsin State Journal.

So, why is the Dane County district attorney trying this case?

Because this is a political prosecution; no evidence is required.

Apparently, the district attorney's office has decided not to test the credibility of Tim Carpenter whose conduct before, the night of, and after the confrontation is bizarre, including his hostile online attack against a black woman running for state senate, an affair for which Carpenter was forced to apologize in July.

District Attorney Ozanne's Decision to Prosecute Black Lives Matters Workers Is Disgrace

Madison, Wisconsin — The Dane County District Attorney’s Office concluded charges against John Doe cannot be proven to a trial jury beyond a reasonable doubt.

Variations of this generic statement explaining a decision to prosecute or not, routinely emanate from the district attorney.

The problem is our current district attorney sometimes engages in a political process to arrive at a legal determination rather than take an honest look at findings applied to the evidentiary standard of beyond a reasonable doubt that Ozanne claims guides his decisions.

Ozanne's, and not just Ozanne's, corruption is an example of a civil servant working under the color of law, substituting his perceived political expediency to displace the community, the Constitution and his duties.

Corruption and political prosecution define the current cases of Black Lives Matter protesters Kerida O’Reilly and Samantha Hamer.

Both civil rights workers are being unjustly prosecuted for the felony crime of Substantial Battery with Intent to Cause Bodily Harm.

Funny thing is there is no specific allegation detailing how Mses O’Reilly and Hamer battered the alleged victim, State Sen. Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee), a rightwing, self-admitted "rash" drug warrior who has worked against black folks to build the carceral state over three decades.

No allegation of fists being thrown, nor elbows, feet, blunt instrument, nothing. 

The alleged victim, Carpenter, has not identified the defendants as touching him.

No eyewitness has identified Mses O’Reilly and Hamer as laying a hand on Carpenter.

No video exists showing Mses O’Reilly and Hamer as laying a hand on Carpenter.

In fact, according to Carpenter and another witness, the confrontation that Carpenter incited included some eight to 10 people during a chaotic melee. 

Did Carpenter, with a racist past and a proven hostility to the protesters, throw a punch first, and others then interceded to defend a victim?

No evidence has been made public that indicts Carpenter or any other single person. Yet, Ozanne says he has concluded charges against Mses O’Reilly and Hamer can be proven to a trial jury beyond a reasonable doubt.

Reports Chris Rickert in the Wisconsin State Journal on the decision of Judge Circuit Court Judge Stephen Ehlke at a probable cause hearing to allow these cases to go to trial:

Despite vigorous arguments from the attorneys for Samantha Hamer, 26, and Kerida O’Reilly, 33, both of Madison, Circuit Court Judge Stephen Ehlke found there was enough probable cause to continue with the case against the women, both of whom are charged with substantial battery in the June 24 attack.

Hamer’s attorney, Adam Welch, and O’Reilly’s attorney, Nathan Otis, argued that testimony from the lead Madison police detective in the case did not point to evidence that their clients had been the ones to punch or kick state Sen. Tim Carpenter, D-Milwaukee. ...

'(Carpenter) has not been able to say whether Ms. Hamer specifically touched him in any way. Is that right?' Welch asked Madison police detective Linda Trevarthen.

'Correct,' Trevarthen said.

Good enough for the cops. Good enough for Ehlke, and for Ozanne fronting for Carpenter because they share the same Party affiliation.

So, faced with a corrupt district attorney's office, we as a community can protest, write, and alert the community that two more civil rights workers are about to suffer another injustice.

Black Lives Matter Prosecution — One Bogus Charge Dropped; Atty Calls Remaining Charge "Shockingly Thin"

Updated - Madison, Wisconsin — "Kerida O’Reilly and Samantha Hamer were arrested on charges of substantial battery and robbery with use of force," reported The Hill this week.

The arrest was a rush to judgement by Madison Police working against a political movement held in disdain by law enforcement.

Police and one rash, drug-warrior, state senator want these and other Black Lives Matter protesters behind bars.

One problem, though not for police, is the two young women are innocent. The case is a political prosecution.

Exemplifying a widely held view among local police, in 2017, Police Chief Mike Koval (ret) said he canceled his NFL subscription amid "taking a knee" protests because this protest is "self-absorbed ... diatribe."

And the police are not too hot on mass protests this Summer, much less taking a knee.

The Madison Police Union this week issued a vote of "no confidence" in the new progressive mayor for her temerity to publicly acclaim the First Amendment and express admiration for the protesters.

Wisconsin media and rightwing political operations have already found the two Black Lives Matter protesters guilty.

But facts can be stubborn things.

Dane County District Attorney Ismael R. Ozanne dropped the robbery with use of force charge yesterday, raising questions why this canard was included in the arrest warrant. But you won't find such questions in the local corporate media.

The two defendants' attorneys — Ms. O’Reilly's attorney, Nathan Otis, and Ms. Hamer's attorney, Adam Welch — made a motion to dismiss the remaining charge — substantial battery.

Reports the Associated Press:

O’Reilly’s attorney, Nathan Otis, said in an email to The Associated Press that it will become clear that she didn’t commit any crime, and that the lack of evidence will become clear as the case progresses.

In a separate email to the AP, Hamer’s attorney, Adam Welch, said his client is 'absolutely not guilty' and that prosecutors’ case against her 'is shockingly thin.'

District Attorney Ozanne can't tell you when, where, how and by whom Carpenter was allegedly battered. Neither can Carpenter. According to reports, Carpenter manage to incite some eight to 10 people during the chaotic melee.

No matter, Ozanne refused to drop the remaining charge. Court Commissioner Brian Asmus refused to dismiss it.

The alleged victim, Wisconsin State Sen Tim Carpenter (D), is a Milwaukee legislator who has worked to build the carceral state for decades, always busily working to imprisoning and demonizing black and brown folk.

Just this month Carpenter was reprimanded by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin and the State Senate Minority leader for online bullying and harassment of a black legislative candidate who dared criticize Carpenter's proposed expansion of the Wisconsin Criminal Code.

The Wisconsin Criminal Code. As a local Madison jurist is fond of saying, "Read the [fracking] statutes."

I did. The crime of which two women stand accused are not sustained by the weakest standard of evidence, (WKOW-TV, Pittman/WORT News).

Available audio and video of the confrontation that Carpenter began show a deceitful man who feigned a collapse in front of a WKOW-TV crew.

Carpenter wants blood. He wants as many Black Lives Matter protesters behind bars, and is not choosy who that is.

Two women protesters supporting Black Lives Matter are out on signature bonds.

This case should not see the light of a courtroom. But facts are not the only stubborn things in Dane County.

Updated - Madison, Wisconsin — A good day for Wisconsin State Sen Tim Carpenter (D).

News this week is two Black Lives Matter protesters are charged with multiple felonies following a late-night June 23 confrontation that Carpenter started, a long-time aim of the legislator championing prisons and police.

Should this affair go to trial, the narcissistic state senator will face close examination of his conduct that will not hold up under scrutiny. Carpenter has worked his whole legislative career mobilizing the war against drugs directed against people of color, so his work with police to imprison Black Lives Matter protesters is a coup for this racist state legislator. Carpenter claimed to a crowd on June 23 how much he supports Black Lives Matter, pointing out in his soliloquy that he once shared a flight to Turkey with Wisconsin Lt. Gov Mandela Barnes (D) who is black.

The crowd did not sound convinced. After his hollered conversation, Carpenter spoke with several protests medics and peacekeepers in an eight-minute  conversation captured on audio, (Pittman/WORT News).

Carpenter voiced no medical complaints. A calm Carpenter can be heard reacting with sympathy to several protesters telling the senator that they had been shot at, and almost run-down on several occasions that night.

The conversation seemed agreeable at that point.

Carpenter did not phone 911 for medical help.

Then, Carpenter walked to his car, spotted WKOW-TV crew members, walked towards the TV crew, and performed an unconvincing 'collapse' in an apparent bid for the TV station's attention.

Carpenter did not fall uncontrollably on the pavement. He gently set himself down to a sitting position, and then laid softly in the comparatively soft decorative brush on the ground next to the sidewalk and WKOW staff.

Carpenter then began a four-week media blitz.

While Carpenter tended to his I-hate-Black-Lives-Matter crusade, the veteran racist then signed on to a bill criminalizing defacing of statutes, making the protesters' point that this guy cares more about statutes than black lives.

Nothing from Carpenter about decarceration, decriminalization, police violence and police defunding.

But Carpenter was not finished.

Nada Elmikashfi is a candidate for the Democratic Party nomination for State Senate District 26 in Dane County.

Elmikashfi criticized Carpenter's proposal to make criminal felons out of anyone defacing a statue, an initiative echoing Donald Trump's protect-the-statues crusade.

Writes Elmikashfi on July 16, commenting on Carpenter's co-authorship of his Senate initiative seeking sponsors:

"Get me in the senate so I can block this absolute bullshit. You shouldn’t have been assaulted Senator Carpenter; but that doesn’t mean you get to block our civil rights movement. If this is passed on a bipartisan basis; @GovEvers needs to veto it. #BlackLivesMatter."

Carpenter is known around the capitol for his dislike of women, especially women of color. 

Carpenter went apoplectic, resulting in a multi-day rant that concluded with the intercession of the state Party Chair and the Senate Minority Leader criticizing the unhinged Carpenter who eventually apologized.

Wisconsin's Democratic leaders are denouncing 'online bullying' perpetrated by Sen. Tim Carpenter, D-Milwaukee, after he targeted Madison Senate candidate Nada Elmikashfi in a flurry of Twitter posts over the last few days that eventually led to the brief suspension of his account for harassment.

Both the state Democratic Party and Senate Minority Leader Janet Bewley decried Carpenter's actions in statements Monday morning, noting the Milwaukee senator's behavior 'crossed the line.'

'Nobody should be subjected to online bullying, which disproportionately harms women and people of color — not during this moment of long-overdue reckoning with racial justice, and not ever,' party officials wrote in their statement.

Carpenter is silent now.

Most likely this is because any defense attorney can win an acquittal against the charge-stacking facing two women against whom Carpenter holds a bias because of their gender and race solidarity.

Carpenter has given defense attorneys a lot of ammo.

A good guess is that this affair will end with restorative justice as Tim Carpenter's story is so full of holes, he cannot politically survive close examination of his conduct and his appalling record.

Donald Trump and a Wisconsin State Senator Say What's Really Important: Protecting Statues

Madison, Wisconsin — What drives Donald Trump and State Sen Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) in their zeal for the arrest, imprisonment, shooting, beating and gassing of those who destroy statues?

Trump is easy.

Trump hates black and brown people. He is enthralled by the idea of conquering armies and dictators obliterating political enemies and lesser human beings.

Statues depicting the greatness of whitish Europeans and inflicted genocide are to be celebrated.

Trump loves the idea of sending in federal brown shirts to beat and gas "anarchists" threatening "our people."

He doesn't really need a reason for his insurrectional incursions against liberation movements.

Statues are a ready stand-in for any phantasm of torturing and killing people who dare question the authority and prominence of the entitled ones.

We are trying to help Portland, not hurt it. Their leadership has, for months, lost control of the anarchists and agitators. They are missing in action. We must protect Federal property, AND OUR PEOPLE. These were not merely protesters, these are the real deal!

There is a swath of Americans for whom Trump's mimicking neo-NAZI rhetoric on Twitter is disturbing. For many more, identifying the enemy and the other is soothing and inspiring.

In Virginia, long a racist bastion, many white and black folks have, in a phrase, had enough, and toppling statues there already seems like something that should have happened long ago.

"Black Virginians have made emotional pilgrimages to reclaim a space that for over a century was physically orchestrated to signify their exclusion and subordinacy," Siddhartha Mitter writes in The Intercept.

So, Trump will — living vicariously through the human garbage impressed into service by the Dept of Homeland Security — arrest, beat and gas the wrong people whom much of white America would like to see tortured.

Portland, for example, may be a dress rehearsal for the violent infliction and chaos Trump desires.

Wisconsin State Sen Tim Carpenter 

Wisconsin State Sen Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) is a rightwing legislator from Milwaukee.

Carpenter wants liberation protesters with whom he started a confrontation in Madison on June 23-24 thrown in prison.

Carpenter wants black and brown people who possess or sell marijuana in prison.

While a member of the Joint Finance Committee, Carpenter blocked pot reform when Democrats had unified control of state government in 2007-11.

Following passage of the ALEC-devised Truth-in-Sentencing law that targeted low-level drug "offenders" (Adelman, Valparaiso University Law Review), Carpenter's actions were especially odious, contributing to making Wisconsin the worst state to be black.

Now, Carpenter wants those responsible for toppling statues on the capitol square in prison, introducing the first post-George Floyd legislation in Wisconsin: Expanding the criminal code to make defacing statues a felony.

America has a lunatic white supremacist in the White House, police are assaulting protesters demonstrating against systemic police assaults, and at this historic moment, Carpenter targets liberation protesters.

Not a word from Carpenter on residential segregation, hostile municipal citation regime. Not a word on decriminalization, defunding and decarseration.

What drives Carpenter?

Carpenter is an identity-politics Democrat creature with no substantial progressive work as a legislator.

Passing this bill would be another tool to be used against liberation protesters.

Black Lives Matter delivered this message to Wisconsin on June 23.

Wisconsin State Sen. Tim Carpenter (D) heard the liberation protesters and his response is:  Black lives do not matter, nor should they.

Carpenter traveled to Madison on June 23 to confront the Black Lives Matter protesters, an incident that Carpenter, in his evolving narrative, says ended up with a fight, after which the legislator proclaimed his love for black people and then walked to the capitol, where he collapsed near a WKOW-TV crew, (Pittman/WORT News). Listen to audio and ask if Carpenter speaking sounds on the verge of collapse that Carpenter performed minutes later when entering the capitol square grounds that Carpenter knows is under surveillance..

Carpenter is a politician from a Milwaukee district, where he has spent three decades in the legislature working to protect laws that target black and brown people —  for example, blocking pot decriminalization, because keeping pot on the criminal code is a ready means of enhancing black time behind bars.

Now, Carpenter wants to make felons out of anyone who damages statues, co-authoring a bill introduced yesterday.

Reports the Associated Press:

[The bill] would make damaging or defacing any structure, plaque, statue, painting or other monument of historical significance on public property or maintained by a government entity a felony punishable by up to three-and-a-half years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Carpenter also demands that police arrest the protesters with whom he started a confrontation.

Since the June 23 confrontation, Carpenter has been issuing updates on his recovery, concluding with his proposed expansion of the Wisconsin Criminal Code, and a mid-July media blitz in Madison and Milwaukee. Carpenter has hyped his confrontation to the hilt, yet noone outside of Black Lives Matter allies has questioned Carpenter's story.

Carpenter is well-known in the capitol as a narcissist, someone whom you need to get around to pass progressive legislation.

Here we are seven weeks out from vicious killing of George Floyd, and massive protests against systemic racism.

Nothing from Carpenter on decarceration, decriminalization, police defunding, and radical change that makes Wisconsin the worst place to be black.

What Tim Carpenter wants is to imprison a good chunk of liberation workers who rallied on the Capitol Square June 23-24 after his high-profile victimhood act that appears more unconvincing the more Carpenter replays it to the media.

Carpenter is a white politician from a Milwaukee district, where he has spent three decades in the state legislature working to screw over black and brown people —  for example, blocking pot decriminalization, because keeping pot on the criminal code is a ready means of enhancing black time behind bars.

At a Black Lives Matter protest demanding radical change against police oppression, on June 23 Carpenter showed up on the capitol square around Midnight to troll ralliers. Carpenter now demands that police arrest the protesters with whom he started a confrontation.

There is heavy police surveillance of liberation protesters, an effort joined by white supremacists who take their own video of protesters in a propaganda effort against the movement.

So, naturally Carpenter takes the side of police and white supremacists and since early July has begun recirculating a deliberately misleading four-second video clip in his continuing effort to get protesters arrested.

Challenged on Twitter to explain his record working against decarceration and decriminalization, the white Democrat says, in effect, I have met many black people. It's comical and pathetic.

You'll notice Carpenter and his amen corner have not publicly criticized police violence, mass incarceration, police defamation and the prison-industrial complex. Carpenter is working imprison more black people, as he has done for decades.

Wisconsin State Senator's Account of Alleged June Attack Contradicted by Audio Recording

Legislator's Karen story as victim falls apart

Madison, Wisconsin — An audio recording obtained by a local radio station in late June contradicts a rightwing Wisconsin state senator who has turned his late-night encounter at a black liberation protest into a cause célèbre.

State Sen. Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) has portrayed in social media and in other venues an allegedly unprovoked, assault and battery, though Black Lives Matter and other protestors have for weeks disputed this account privately.

An eight-minute audio recording, posted at WORT Radio (Madison) and available since June 24, contradicts Carpenter's story that he has repeated to national and local news, and widely disseminated recently on social media.

Carpenter is a rightwing Democrat from Milwaukee who worked for decades to further the drug war against minorities, going so far as to kill marijuana reform during the 2007-2011 period when Democrats enjoyed unified control of the legislative and executive branches of state government.

On the audio, Carpenter can be heard protesting that he is a state senator, referencing friends who have worked in past protests from different decades.

Protesters can be heard pleading that they felt threatened, and explaining to Carpenter they have been "shot at," "arrested" and "run down" by hostile players, including white supremacists and police.

Several voices, apparently including Carpenter's, can be heard apologizing.

Carpenter's story later changed as he garnered national media attention, and lately he has taken to social media to support his black-folks-came-at-me story.

Carpenter's actions are known in the vernacular as Karening — using a sense of white entitlement to seek police action against perceived enemies, by advancing a false narrative or a false account.

Wisconsin State Sen: Public Criticism of Office Performance Is Stalking

Madison, Wisconsin — Wisconsin State Sen Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) has declared that public criticism of his public performance in an elected office of public trust is "stalking."

Carpenter made his comments declaring analysis and advocacy for black liberation fighters as "stalking," as the Milwaukee legislator continues his political crusade against black citizens.

Carpenter is a longtime drug-war champion who killed pot reform during the 2007-2011 period when legislative Democrats had unified control of Wisconsin state government and specific commitment from Gov Jim Doyle for drug-war reforms.

Black and brown citizens have suffered immeasurably here under the stringent drug war backed by Carpenter.

Carpenter has excoriated the black liberation protests this Summer in Madison to which he traveled in June with the intent to troll, and work as an agent provocateur.

Wisconsin — Democrats Fly Identity-Politics Flag, and Virtue-Signal amid Calls for Liberation

Madison, Wisconsin — Wisconsin is the worst place to be black.

It's an empirical fact. If you're of a darker hue, it's an experiential fact.

One of the last places one hears challenge to our generic ideology, racism, is from the Democratic Party.

Forget Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama. Forget Philly, Chicago, Minneapolis and St. Louis; they're all fonts of integration and social justice compared to Wisconsin and greater Milwaukee.

This tragedy is sustained by the gerrymandered-empowered White Party, with full cooperation from the Democrats that as a political force steers clear of fighting racism.

In this milieu, we consider heroic work of liberation fighters in Madison, Milwaukee, Wauwautosa, the whole state, including Fond du Lac, my native city where praise-the-lord hosannas co-existed with nigger jokes in the 1970s-80s.

Wisconsin's ole-time religion explains why Reps Tom Petri, (R-Fond du Lac), Toby Roth, (R-Green Bay), and James Sensenbrenner (R-White People) all opposed establishing Dr. King's holiday in 1983, (Gov Track).

Petri, Roth and Sensenbrenner knew Wisconsin — white and white — and racists were this trio's kind of people.

This is fine with Democrats, who respond today with virtue-signaling, which is to say a vacuous liberal emitting of sounds employing identity politics and political correctness, while embracing the brutal police war against black and brown folks.

Virtue-signaling and political correctness have the additional qualities of repulsing millions who see the toxic and insincere quality of liberal posturing on race, for example.

Consider the pro-drug war Wisconsin State Sen. Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) who antagonized a group of protesters in Madison in June, grabbed some headlines and continues his crusade against minorities following decades of service in the drug war.

Carpenter didn't show up to Madison for support Black Lives Matter in early Summer.

Carpenter is a cop-wanna-be who brags he "completed the Milwaukee Police Department Citizen Academy in 2018," and made the Wisconsin Professional Police Association Law Enforcement Honor Roll, (Drug Task Force).

Carpenter helped killed marijuana reform during the 2007-11 period when the Democrats controlled both the Wisconsin state legislature and the governor office.

Human rights and civil liberties do not occupy a prominent place in Carpenter and the Democratic Party's ambitions.

There were no decriminalization efforts, no decarceration, no ripping up the State drug crime statues, no eviscerating the Wisconsin Code of Ordinances, a common citation tool used by municipal police against minorities and dissenting citizens. Protesting, you inciting a riot.

So, just before the July Fourth Holiday, I posed questions and challenges to Carpenter on Twitter on why he was continuing to oppose efforts by black liberation groups, specifically citing his misreported conduct during the liberation protests here in June.

Carpenter's responses did not disappoint.

This is a politician demonstrating no comprehension of what police routinely, and systemically, inflict onto black and brown communities.

Instead, Carpenter protests that he is gay, hence is an "ally" of black folks, in his telling.

Carpenter even puts emojis on his Twitter posts, a revealing example of virtue signaling while advocating for public policy that makes Wisconsin the worst place to be black.
