Music for Door County Don

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber live forever as artists.

Their song, I Don't Know How to Love Him, reaches new people every day.

Sara Bareilles stands with Yvonne Elliman as human vocalist of several centuries.

First listened to Jesus Christ Superstar in the mid-1970s in Fondy during on a hot and humid day, languid, it felt like I swam through the air.

Song struck me immediately as a declaration of the writers and performers', Yvonne, sense of life as never-ending celebration, interrupted on occasion by racists, fascists, and haters desperately committed to a religious vision of life and community as hell requiring hate as psychic mooring.

Hope you enjoy Sara in the NBC production of JCS—play this music LOUD with wine and drugs. And look to triads of Wiccans and black people in the coming days.

Jesus Christ Superstar Live on Sunday Night Resets the Soul

Magnificence of Brandon Victor Dixon is inspiring.
Madison, Wisconsin—For readers living in Wisconsin befouled by malignant Evangelicals, repulsed by impressions of Trump and wedded to the conviction Palestinians are living human beings, a good offense is strength garnered by theatrical expressions of love.

Watched the presentation of Jesus Christ Superstar last night. Felt privileged to experience the awesome display of systemic good will from the world of film and theater live from New York:

Sara Bareilles, Brandon Victor Dixon, and John Legend are in the video below:
