Gov Tony Evers' Inaction on Moving Elections Is Unconscionable

Coronavirus imperils Wisconsin as Gov Tony Evers
refuses action on elections to mounting criticism.
Update: Gov Evers' position remains let's hold the April 7 elections for in-person voting, and hope noone shows up at the poll because it's too dangerous.
--
Madison365 this weekend features a report from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) that says, "The coronavirus crisis will peak in Wisconsin around May 22, with about 1,350 people in the hospital and 13 people dying every day, and will last well into July."
--
One hell of a gamble with the safety of the Wisconsin people that Evers is taking.

But he has his reasons: Evers wants Wisconsin to not postpone elections, in accordance with the wishes of the national Democratic Party trying to shepherd establishment favorite, Joe Biden, as the nominee: "The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is asking states not to postpone their primaries amid the coronavirus pandemic," notes a reports from The Hill this weekend.

Public safety loses when matched against Party loyalty and group-think.
 ---
Madison, Wisconsin — With a flick of the state Health Sec-designee's pen, Gov Tony Evers can ban the dangerous in-person voting scheduled for Election Day, April 7, during this unprecedented state of emergency, (Wisconsin Executive Orders).

But Evers refuses to do so despite mounting criticism. Evers' staff says moving elections would result in a lawsuit, so no public-safety order from the administration, (Schmidt, Wisconsin State Journal).

This widely desired action would have the effect of canceling the elections, in a move many hope would result in rescheduling Wisconsin's Presidential Preference Primary, and other municipal and state elections.

A piece in the New York Times this morning makes the point:

With April elections rapidly approaching in Wisconsin, local officials were issuing stark warnings about holding in-person voting amid the escalating coronavirus outbreak, saying the state was forcing voters to choose between their health and their constitutional right to vote.

Local officials and members of the public fear for their health and very lives, and are urging Evers to act. See also 'How can I be positive?' La Crosse County nurse shares her experience with COVID-19.

Wisconsin State Rep. David Bowen (D-Milwaukee), who tested positive for COVID 19 this week, said at a press conference, "There is no safe way to be able to have this election," (Becker, The Capital Times).

But for Tony Evers, the Democratic Party needs justify his gamble that noone shows up and votes in-person on Election Day — what Evers has been urging for days.

And state Republicans are no better.

Write Nick Corasaniti and Stephanie Saul in the Times:

Even as other states have postponed their presidential primaries, Evers has remained adamant the election will proceed as planned on April 7 — a decision that (State Sen) Fitzgerald (R) and (State Rep) Vos (R) have supported. All three have strongly encouraged residents to vote absentee.

The decision to hold the election at a time when nonessential travel and mass gatherings are banned in hopes of mitigating the respiratory disease’s spread has drawn strong criticism from poll workers, clerks and members of the public who argue doing so puts voters and poll workers at risk of infection.

Madison’s city clerk has said roughly half of poll workers scheduled to work the election have canceled. In Middleton, 25 of the city’s 72 poll workers, including two chief inspectors, will not staff election day.

So what's with Evers and state Republican legislative leaders?

Republicans want elections to proceed as they game public health to retain a rightwing state Supreme Court justice in a depressed-turnout election.

And Evers wants the elections to proceed in defiance of the clear public health danger, to further the nomination of Joe Biden.

Unconscionable.

Wisconsin Should Postpone April 7 Elections, Presidential Primary

Holding elections during COVID 19 health crisis is like sailing in a hurricane

Update II: What's Gov Tony Evers (D) going to say the family of the first person who contracts COVID 19 on Election Day? 'Oh, I did send a ''message?'''

Update: See U.S. Vote Foundation for remedies.

Madison, Wisconsin — Ask yourself a question: Would you feel safe bringing your child to the polling place on April 7, Election Day?

I think we know the answer. No way in hell would I bring a child near the polling place.

We need to postpone the Spring General elections.

COVID 19 is too dangerous.

I think Gov Tony Evers (D) will ultimately decide to postpone Wisconsin's April 7 Spring 2020 Election and Presidential Preference Primary.

In Dane County, election officials are doing their best to ensure both a healthy and franchised electorate.

Still, the monster in the room looms large: COVID 19 on Election Day,

Municipalities are cutting back early voting as too dangerous for municipal bureaucrats and poll workers.

But surely, the danger on Election Day is equally hazardous for the public.

Wisconsin State Rep. David Bowen (D-Milwaukee), who tested positive for COVID 19 this week, said at a press conference, "There is no safe way to be able to have this election," (Becker, The Capital Times).

Rep. Bowen is right.

Evers is reportedly evaluating a mail-in-only election.

Changing the rules in the middle of the Election to henceforth ban in-person voting is a safer public health option.

But even during a state of emergency, declaring a major Election rules change is not going to pass Constitutional muster.

Evers is equivocating, emitting nonsense that "the message is still stay at home, vote by mail," (Becker, The Capital Times).

We don't and should not administer elections by "message" and public health advice.

"Pennsylvania lawmakers voted Wednesday to delay the state’s April 28 primary election by five weeks to June 2," joining 10 other states that are delaying elections, reads this morning's headline in Harrisburg.

Wisconsin should follow suit in canceling the April 7 elections, but wait to see if the public health situation clarifies before declaring another Election Day date.

Wisconsin Could Be Point Where Bernie Sanders Closes in on Biden in Delegate Math

Above: March for Bernie Sanders in Waupaca,
Wisconsin on the weekend before the April 5, 2016
presidential primary election. (Facebook)
Joe Biden has won 871 delegates (Bernie 719) out of a needed 1,991, (NBC News).

Next up are Arizona, Florida, Illinois (March 17), Alabama (March 31), Alaska, Hawaii, Louisiana (April 4) and Wisconsin, (April 7).

Bernie Sanders will win most or half of these states and likely blow Biden out in Wisconsin.

This will mean a few dozen delegates as the difference going into mid-April.

This will of course require Bernie's attack on Biden's hostility to Social Security and Medicare drawing blood in Florida.

Then, a two-and-a-half week hiatus followed by New York, Pennsylvania and several New England states on April 28, (2020 Election Presidential Calendar).

Democratic special interests know the score and they are scared.

Time for media talking heads to implausibly declare 'game over' now and Tuesday night.

Questions from Wisconsin: Will Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Milwaukee) actually do something and endorse Bernie Sanders?

Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) ruled out an endorsement last August, (Vetterkind, Wisconsin State Journal).

Rob Ganson offered his assessment here on the 2016 debacle:

The corrupt neolib, third-way 'democratic representatives' and party officials who fixed the primary for the Clintons made the Trump presidency possible.

Nowhere is that more obvious than in the pivotal state of Wisconsin, where, despite our overwhelming vote for Sanders, our 'representatives' worked against us and for the Clintons. This while it was obvious that while Sanders would beat Trump, the Clintons would lose.
The reaction of the Democratic Party in 2019-2020 reveals its intent to again ignore its betters.

So, along comes Joe Biden.

C'mon. Biden spends most of his time trying to appear to a populist progressive, then sells out to the highest bidder.

No way am I voting for Joe Biden if the Democratic Party rigs the game again.

Bernie Forces Joe Biden into Corner, Pounds Him on Social Security, Medicare, Veterans' Cuts — Biden Lies in Response

'C'mon Joe, why don't you tell the truth here?'

"C'mon, Joe, you were. You’re an honest guy. Why don’t you just tell the truth here? We all make mistakes. ... You have been on the floor of the Senate time and time again talking about the need to cut Social Security, Medicare and veterans’ programs. Is that true or is that not true?"

So said Bernie Sanders, raking Joe Biden over the coals for Biden's long advocacy for cutting Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and veterans benefits at a debate broadcast from a CNN television studio in Washington, D.C. by CNN and Univision last night.

Joe Biden offered a denial, though Biden has been advocating the cuts for decades.

The debate exchange was devastating, should be the stuff of endless media repetition because of the spectacular quality of Biden's subsequent dissembling and the clear video evidence disconfirming Biden on video. But the media today is trying in vain to play defense for Biden.

Said Biden at the debate, "No, I did not talk about the need to cut any of those programs."

Sanders did not let Biden off the hook.

Bernie Sanders: Let me ask you a question, Joe. You’re right here with me. Have you been on the floor of the Senate, you were in the Senate for a few years, time and time again talking about the necessity, with pride, about cutting Social Security, cutting Medicare, cutting veterans programs?

Joe Biden: No.

Bernie Sanders: You never said that?

Joe Biden: No.

Bernie Sanders: All right, America, go to the website right now, go to the YouTube right now

In realty-land, Joe Biden has time and again pushed for social insurance cuts, and Biden has been lying about his record since Iowa.

Joe Biden has engineered a clumsy parade of lies, as termed by the journalist Krystal Ball.

Watch the YouTube videos and tell me Joe Biden should be president.
The truth from Joe Biden? C'mon.

From Branko Marcetic in In These Times:

Biden first displayed his friendliness to GOP entitlement hawks when he appointed former Wyoming Sen. Alan Simpson to co-chair  the president's National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility, created in February 2010 via executive order. Simpson was one of Congress's most high-profile foes of entitlements and a proponent of Social Security privatization. In Woodward's telling, Biden even had to lightly pressure a somewhat reluctant Simpson to take the role.

Sure enough, the Simpson-Bowles Commission, as it came to be known, recommended cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, leading liberal economist Paul Krugman to label the commission 'terrible.' Failing to secure enough votes from the commission to recommend the plan to Congress, the proposals were never taken up.

But Biden took a far more direct role in undermining Social Security and Medicare when he headed tax policy negotiations with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in December 2010. In Woodward's telling, Biden's eagerness to cut a deal with the Republicans sometimes elicited outrage from his fellow Democrats, who felt he was giving too much away.

Joe Biden does not deserve our vote ever, and if Biden is the nominee, he must be stopped.

Biden's Mental Decline from 2012 Is Clear in Video Clips

Questions about Joe Biden's
cognitive problems are avoided
in the MSNBC-CNN black-out.
Biden is pictured above in Feb
in South Carolina where he claimed
to be running for the
United States Senate.
Updated - Joe Biden is suffering the cognitive effects of age,

We almost all will at different points in our lives.

But now is the time for a honest look at Biden's capacities.

The video below is revealing.

Have a look and tell me Joe Biden is okay.

The decline from 2012 has been precipitous; no objective observer can conclude otherwise.

The video below begins with a clip from the 2012 vice-presidential debate with Paul Ryan, evincing an agile, knowledgeable Biden. Not so in 2020.
Today, Biden could manage only seven minutes at a rally in St, Louis, with a teleprompter. To be clear, I don't like Joe Biden, but this is getting sad, and cruel.

Joe Biden Has Incipient Dementia — Media, Dems Ignore His Condition; Republicans Will Not

Joe Biden - A shadow of himself
Joe Biden often drifts into incoherence on the 2020 campaign trail, emitting non sequiturs, misstatement and incoherence, including the name of the very office he seeks.

The corporate media falsely reports this Biden phenomenon as "gaffe" or a stutter. This is a lie.

For example, during the South Carolina primary campaign in February, Biden announced, "My name's Joe Biden. I'm a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate. Look me over. If you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other Biden," (Wulfsohn, Fox News).

Everyone misspeaks.

But not like this, and not a seasoned D.C. insider like Biden.

In public, Biden forgot Barack Obama's name; forgot Bernie Sanders' name.

Joe Biden has incipient dementia.

The rightwing media is salivating over the prospect that the Democratic Party and its propaganda organs may yet deliver Biden to the general election match-up.

Honest journalists are sounding the alarm.

Caitlin Johnstone at Consortium News has a feature piece out this weekend, composed of 38 video exhibits demonstrating Joe Biden's cognitive decline.

It's not funny. Joe Biden deserves our empathy and the best of his guaranteed healthcare that he would deny most Americans, and the security Biden wishes to deny our seniors.

Dementia is scary for the person who endures this tragedy.

Biden is frightened and angry, as caught on video in Iowa.

Concludes Johnstone:

I hate doing this. I hate repeatedly writing about the obvious and undeniable fact that an old man is exhibiting obvious and undeniable symptoms of incipient dementia. It isn’t fun, and it doesn’t feel good. But the alternative is down and allowing the Democratic party and its allied media to gaslight people into believing it’s not a thing, as they are doing currently. ...

Joe Biden is Jeb Bush plus dementia. Trump will be far less charitable with his symptoms than I am here, and if he’s nominated the president will make certain this story dominates news headlines from the convention until November. Anyone who wants Trump out of office should fiercely oppose Biden’s nomination.

Whatever your political persuasion, now is not the time for cover-up of Joe Biden's condition.

Below is a recent video of Biden disrespecting an Iraq war veteran at a campaign event in Oakland on March 3, before angrily fleeing the encounter.

Biden wrongly insinuated that his own son died in the war.

Main Event: Bernie for the People v Credit Card Industry-Insurance Company-War Mongering Joe

CNN and MSNBC are going to have their corporate hands full propping up Joe Biden.

Biden has never stopped lying, plagiarizing and whoring himself out to the highest bidder.

Now, the corporate media is still abuzz proclaiming Biden as the second coming.

Bernie Sanders is moving forward, and the corrupt Democrat party is still frightened out their minds, Bernie and working families will decimate the corrupt Washington D.C. swamp.

Can you imagine, to take one issue, Bernie debating healthcare for all v Joe Biden's for-profit health insurance scam?

How about Biden's whoring for the credit card industry?
Watch for the most laughable red baiting in American history.

Bernie Sanders Connects; While Dem Establishment Schemes to Throw Race to Party Insiders

A South Carolina Democratic Party surrogate is clearing up misconceptions about the Democratic Party being democratic.

"The party decides its nominee. The public doesn’t really decide the nominee. The public gets to vote for the President of the United States," said former South Caroline State Sen. Anton Gunn (D) on MSNBC this morning.

The Party glorified by State Sen Gunn has a Soviet ring to it.

Meanwhile, another poll shows Bernie Sanders defeating Trump in the general election in a critical swing state.

Bloomber's Racist Rant Caught on Video

Mike Bloomberg is running to win, or at
least to block Bernie Sanders from winning
the Democratic  nomination.
Above flyer was left at door of
frequent voters in Fitchburg, Wisconsin
two days after Iowa caucuses.
If Michael Bloomberg's stop-and-frisk black and brown people on sight were not sufficient to disqualify the oligarch from consideration, the following video certainly is.

Bloomberg is a racist.

Now-a-days this pathology is not a disqualification with the special interests who dominate the Democratic Party.

The Democratic Party is horrible.

Please circulate the video widely.

It will make your sick.

Racism is now part and parcel of the dems.

AP Changes Story on Joe Biden Refusal to Back Nominee

Updated - The Associated Press reported a story by Bill Barrow in Iowa yesterday with the headline, "Biden won't commit to backing Sanders if he's the nominee."

Today, the same AP piece's headline reads: "Biden won’t say whether Sanders could unify Dems as nominee."

The new formulation in the headline changes the meaning from Joe Biden committing a 'unity' foul to Bernie Sanders generating disunity.

The lead graf also has been changed from "Former Vice President Joe Biden stopped short Tuesday of saying he’d support Bernie Sanders if the progressive Vermont senator wins the Democratic presidential nomination," to "Former Vice President Joe Biden wouldn’t say Tuesday whether he thinks Bernie Sanders could effectively unify the Democrats if the Vermont senator wins the party’s presidential nomination."

The AP explains: "This story has been corrected to show that Biden was questioned on whether Sanders could unite the party as the nominee, not whether Biden would support Sanders if he’s the nominee."

Biden said,  "I just think that it depends upon how we treat one another between now and the time we have a nominee." It is Biden's support.

"The Biden campaign said [later] Tuesday afternoon that the former vice president would support the eventual nominee," reported the AP.

Who needs the Biden campaign to clean up Joe's mess when they have corporate press?

This AP fronting for the Democratic Party establishment exemplifies the desperation to stop the Bernie Sanders campaign.
The corporate media and Democrats live in a small world. As Glenn Greenwald laughs off the latest round of ridiculousness:

Democrat Attack on Bernie Sanders Tells Voters: 'Stay away from Party'

The Democratic Party establishment wants Hillary Clinton as the nominee in 2020, but without Hillary Clinton.

Make no mistake, the Democratic presidential primary campaign of 2020 is not about America or the American people.

The Primary campaign is about protecting elite power in the swamp, and preventing the perceived usurpers from gaining a foothold on our country through the Bernie Sanders campaign.

The attacks launched against Sanders today — incoherent and splatter-shot though they are — mimic the assault of January 2016 in which Democratic hysteria and corruption gave us Donald Trump.

Today's attacks are character assassination against the Sanders campaign. I won't review them here.

As Bernie Sanders' campaign challenges the pro-war, pro-special interests racket that the Democrats have become, the establishment is longer pretending to care about the people.

The blob is simply looking for allies to stop Sanders.

And in Trumpian fashion, campaign rules are for Bernie Sanders, and not for Joe Biden and other Democrats.

Consider this dispatch from Iowa, which the AP quickly changed to reflect poorly on Sanders from refelcting poorly on Joe Biden.
The Associated Press reported the story yesterday with the headline, "Biden won't commit to backing Sanders if he's the nominee."

Today, the same AP piece headline reads: "Biden won’t say whether Sanders could unify Dems as nominee."

The new formulation in the headline changes the meaning from Joe Biden committing a 'unity' foul to Bernie Sanders generating doubt.

The lead also has been changed from "Former Vice President Joe Biden stopped short Tuesday of saying he’d support Bernie Sanders if the progressive Vermont senator wins the Democratic presidential nomination," to "Former Vice President Joe Biden wouldn’t say Tuesday whether he thinks Bernie Sanders could effectively unify the Democrats if the Vermont senator wins the party’s presidential nomination."

Democrats and the corporate media are a scam.

Bernie Sanders Surges as Party and Special Interests Wince

The Bernie Sanders campaign has generated appeal in precisely the demographics needed to beat Donald Trump — white, rural voters.

So, naturally the can-do-little-right Democratic Party establishment is desperate to stop Sanders in rural Iowa.

From the Associated Press:

[S]simmering tensions within the Democratic Party are apparent. Establishment officials are struggling to mask their concern about Bernie Sanders’ strength with polls showing the self-described democratic socialist running strong in both Iowa and New Hampshire.

Anecdotal reports from Iowa shows the Sanders field operation finding significant support in the field one week out from the Feb 3 caucuses.

The number of "Commit to Caucus cards" field reps are filling out with Iowa folks shows caucus voters want an authentic, candid contact that Bernie Sanders delivers.

Combined with the field operation's sheer numbers, Sanders seems to be finding casual-voter support ripe for whichever campaign has the best-organized and best-staffed field operations.

It's no good to run up contact numbers, we need good contacts to win, appears an ethic of many Sanders field operatives. It better be.

"Convincing Iowans to support a candidate requires a field organizer to forge genuine relationships; the caucus process takes hours and is conducted in full public view, so voters need to believe in a campaign to subject themselves to it," notes 538.

Many Iowans make up their mind in the last 10 days, notes Dan Guild at Bleeding Heartland.

The question remains: In the sprint to the Iowa Caucuses, can the Democratic Party stop caucus voters from casting their preferences?

Bernie Sanders Sits Atop Field in Polls as Corporate Media Shuts out Inconvenient Facts

Nate Silver is whoring out his site for throw-them-in
-prison Joe Biden today, but has to concede in a graphic
Bernie Sanders leads the field in average favorability
of Democratic party candidates.
If the corporatist talking heads on CNN, MSNBC and the Democratic Party establishment held a presidential Primary Election, they would anoint Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris or Joe Biden as nominee.

But not Bernie Sanders who in a piece by Nate Silver at 538 sits atop the field in favorability ratings.

But Sanders is not what Silver is writing about.

Silver is whoring out his site for throw-them-in-prison Joe Biden today, but has to concede in a graphic Bernie Sanders leads the field in average favorability of Democratic party candidates.

The total of Strongly Favorable and Somewhat Favorable ratings show Bernie Sanders at 75 percent and Joe Biden at 73 percent.

Bernie Sanders leading the Democratic field in anything, Bernie Sanders trouncing Donald Trump in General Election match-ups, Bernie Sanders raising the most contributions by far — these are stories that must not be repeated by the corporate media.

One may think that after CNN, MSNBC and the Democratic Party establishment rigged the 2016 nomination for Hillary Clinton that the corporatists might be gun-shy in giving out pronouncements and advertisements against Bernie Sanders this time around.

Going into November 2016, Clinton was 12 points underwater with a whopping 54 percent unfavorability rating, RealClearPolitics data show. No red flags there.

Clinton campaign staffers populate the national political coverage on cable news like mosquitoes in the north woods.

Haven't these people who gave us Donald Trump, Donald Trump!, done enough damage for a few life times?

Speaker Pelosi Wants Appeasement Policy Towards Trump — Says Feared Trump Action after 2020 Election Should Decide Democratic Nominee

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's
comments that her fears of Trump
refusing to step aside after a guessed
2020 defeat suggest a policy of
appeasement.

Pelosi Calls for Appeasement Policy to Convince Trump to Leave Office in Event of 2020 Defeat

Updated - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressed concern Donald Trump would refuse to vacate the presidency after the 2020 general elections.

Pelosi urged Americans to elect the Democratic Party nominee in accordance with her corporatist policy, an effort to convince Trump to voluntarily leave office after a speculated defeat, and to deter a challenge by Trump against the legitimacy of election results.

Pelosi made her comments in an interview with the New York Times, (Thrush).

Writes Glenn Thrush:

In recent weeks Ms. Pelosi has told associates that she does not automatically trust the president to respect the results of any election short of an overwhelming defeat. That view, fed by Mr. Trump’s repeated and unsubstantiated claims of Democratic voter fraud, is one of the reasons she says it is imperative not to play into the president’s hands[.]
Mollifying Trump is policy of Nancy Pelosi.
Pelosi said she can inoculate the country against Trump engaging in an act of defiance against adverse election results by electing her preferred candidates for the nomination.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi does not believe President Trump can be removed through impeachment — the only way to do it, she said this week, is to defeat him in 2020 by a margin so 'big' he cannot challenge the legitimacy of a Democratic victory.

That is something she worries about.

'We have to inoculate against that, we have to be prepared for that,' Ms. Pelosi said during an interview at the Capitol on Wednesday as she discussed her concern that Mr. Trump would not give up power voluntarily if he lost re-election by a slim margin next year.

Sitting in her office with its panoramic view of the National Mall, Ms. Pelosi — the de facto head of the Democratic Party until a presidential nominee is selected in 2020 — offered Democrats her 'coldblooded' plan for decisively ridding themselves of Mr. Trump: Do not get dragged into a protracted impeachment bid that will ultimately get crushed in the Republican-controlled Senate, and do not risk alienating the moderate voters who flocked to the party in 2018 by drifting too far to the left.

'Own the center left, own the mainstream,' Ms. Pelosi, 79, said.
Only the "big" margin of victory that Pelosi feels her preferred candidates would achieve can persuade Trump to leave the presidency.

In the Times interview, Pelosi also derided popular progressive policy initiatives that she opposes, such as Medicare for all and the Green New Deal, as "exuberances" — to be avoided because Pelosi has made her electoral assessment that the Speaker believes will result in a "big" electoral win in 2020 that would deter Trump.

It's unclear if Pelosi realizes she is advocating that fear of an unconstitutional, illegal and unprecedented action by Trump after the 2020 election should dictate major policy positions, including whom voters elect as the Democratic Party presidential nominee.

Nowhere in the Times piece is there expressed sentiment by Nancy Pelosi that the legitimate winner of the 2020 general election — regardless of who this is or what policy she or he advocates —   should assume the presidency, without respect to what Donald Trump believes or says.

This is Pelosi's first open call for an appeasement policy towards Trump.

Writes Thrush:

Few people outside Ms. Pelosi’s inner circle were aware of how worried she was that Mr. Trump would try to stop the opposition party from taking control of the House unless the Democrats’ victory was emphatic enough to be indisputable.

'If we win by four seats, by a thousand votes each, he’s not going to respect the election,' said Ms. Pelosi, recalling her thinking in the run-up to the 2018 elections.

The Times piece did not include the word, "appeasement," nor a quote from any source criticizing Pelosi's comments.

Ahistorical, unschooled and unwise, Nancy Pelosi appears inclined to damage freedoms and popular policy in an effort to mollify a fascist president.

It's not only Donald Trump who is torpedoing our most cherished democratic processes.

The 2020 general elections are not about seeking Trump's approval, consent or respect. Nancy Pelosi needs to understand this.

Milwaukee's Staggering and Ongoing Attack on Blacks Is SOP

Milwaukee in one image. Never has one major political party,
white Republicans, so inflicted one community in modern
history. But the Democratic Party is not much better.
Source: MacGillis and Schulberg, The New Republic

Inequity, Hate and Oppression

Madison, Wisconsin — In Milwaukee, police know when they harass, malign, beat or kill black people, the city's liberal mayor, Tom Barrett, has their backs.

It's the way it is.

White-and-proud-of-it folks have a haven in Milwaukee; black folks live on an island in the most segregated metro area in America.

The economic disparities are staggering in American leading apartheid city.

Nina Turner, consultant for the Bernie Sanders campaign, emphasizes today that racism persists, pointing to the comprehensive empirical study released by the National Urban League in 2016.

A related question going into the 2020 Democratic National Convention sited in Milwaukee is how badly, how deadly, will Milwaukee police, loaded with Trumpists, abuse the protesting citizenry next Summer.

Mass protests of Democratic Party duplicity are likely.

Then again killing folks in public during the 2020 Convention might dampen the party.

Better to pick off black people in slow-motion, day-by-day, year-after-year — the Tom Barrett,  Democratic Party way.

Wisconsin Is Bernie Sanders Country in 2020

Above: March for Bernie Sanders in Waupaca, Wisconsin on
the weekend before the April 5, 2016  presidential primary
election. (Facebook)
Madison, Wisconsin — During the 2015-16 Democratic primary there was a sustained message from progressives in the northern two-thirds of the state: If the Democratic Party imposes Hillary Clinton onto Wisconsin, then Clinton will lose Wisconsin in the 2016 general election.

Multiply Wisconsin by a few states and the world has the first fascist American president.

Progressives in Wisconsin remain perceptive.

The reaction of the Democratic Party in 2019-2020 appears to reveal its intent to again ignore its political betters.

So, along comes Joe Biden. C'mon. Biden spends most of his time trying to appear to a populist progressive, then sells out to the highest bidder.

Voters will ensure the Democratic Party does not repeat its mistake by dumping Joe for Bernie Sanders.

I guarantee you Wisconsin voters will elect Bernie Sanders for president in Wisconsin's April 7, 2020 presidential primary.

Remember 2016. Polls showed Sanders outperformed Clinton by significant margins as the Democratic Party nominee, (RealClearPolitics).

We were warned.

And the Democratic Party rigged the game for Hillary Clinton anyway.

Don't get fooled again. I know Wisconsin won't.
