Updated - News a candidate declared for the nomination of the Democratic Party for state senate district one in northeastern Wisconsin was met with a lot of 'who is this guy?' talk today.

Door County's Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Caleb Frostman announced his campaign for Wisconsin’s 1st senate district in the June 12 special election, following Scott Walker's failed effort to block two legislative elections, (Door County Pulse).

According to several sources in northeastern Wisconsin, Frostman's campaign manager will the same activist who worked with St. Croix County, (Wisconsin), medical examiner and now State Rep. Patty Schachtner to an upset victory in January.

Frostman is the nice guy about whom noone apparently knows he's "political."

Several residents in Door and Kewaunee counties joked Frostman must be a fake Democrat.

A nice guy without a political resume may be the candidate Wisconsin State Senate district one needs in the special election that so frightens Scott Walker, the pip-squeak governor needed three judges to explain what a writ of mandamus and positive duty are.

The election is June 12. Stay tuned, going to be a fun Spring.
