Wisconsin Dems Legislator Out as Assembly Leader

Madison, Wisconsin — A Democratic legislative leader who betrayed Wisconsin working families for the proposed $3 billion corporate give-away to the Taiwanese giant, Foxconn, has resigned from his post as minority leader.

The Democratic State Assembly Minority Leader, Rep. Peter Barca, (D-Kenosha), voted in August for an unprecedented state subsidy dubbed the Fox Con, drawing public criticism from progressive Democratic Assembly members and the public.

The Foxconn subsidy is unpopular across the state.

Folks up-north in central and northern Wisconsin do not want and did not ask for a crippling $3 billion public subsidy to Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd.

Barca will never understand this.
