Clean Water Activists Work in Midst of Campaign

As Wisconsin political season hits fever-pitch, clean water activists in central Wisconsin remain hard at work.

Following is the third email from three different organizations in Adams and Wood counties working to ensure tourism-recreation beats back industrialized, polluting factory-farm agriculture.

When:                 Thursday, April 7th from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Attending:          Sen. Julie Lassa, Rep. Katrina Shankland, Sen. Mark Miller, Rep. Cory Mason

Rep. Mason and Sen. Miller are authors of the Water Sustainability Act, which would create a sustainable mechanism for managing our water resources. This listening session will be an opportunity for interested parties to share their concerns about groundwater in the Central Sands, ask questions of legislators, and discuss what we can expect next session.
