GOP's Kim Simac on Family Values and Her Spouse-Swapping

Kim Simac is running for the District 12 Wisconsin state senate seat up North and has a primary today. She'll likely win.

Simac likes to tell people in Wisconsin how their families should be arranged, according to her values.

Here is what Simac says about "family values":

Family Values

I believe in the preservation of the family and traditional family values, and will always support legislation to protect them. To be strong, Wisconsin needs to support the traditional family structure and work to encourage marriage as the route to a stable and successful future. I am proudly pro-life and support pro-life efforts to protect the unborn.
From The Atlantic:

[But her personal life and marriage are a matter of choice and not anyone's business, a reasonable position.]

Kim Simac, the 'family values' candidate and founder of Northwoods Patriots ('Standing up for FAITH, Family and Country') explains the fact that she swapped spouses with her ex as 'one of those quirky American stories.'
Just wondering if personal choice ought to extend to everyone and not just Kim Simac. It should.
