The New Yorker Cover


I think the butt of the New Yorker's caustic cover is obviously the crowd who believes this crap, and to whom Republicans are attempting to appeal.

The New Yorker is mocking these whacks.

It's not the art that is "tasteless and offensive (Obama campaign)," it's the lack of thought that garners these sentiments in too much of the country.

A relative in rural Georgia reports that a lot of white folks there like Obama, but because he is a Muslim, many believe that he's gonna take it easy on the terrorists. These are the people being mocked.
