Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), the Democratic Party's 2004 presidential nominee, will endorse Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) for president in South Carolina today, Democratic sources told Politico.
That's fine.
Most progressive values voters are still POed at Kerry for a series of betrayals to peace and social justice, and crashing the 2004 Democratic nomination.
Maybe Kerry does not wish to be remembered as a consultant-based, do-nothing void.
