Hate a headline composed of a question.
But this question is on the minds of progressives who love both John Edwards and Barack Obama, and would vote only reluctantly for Hillary Clinton in the general election (not that Clinton would have much trouble with any Republican).
With only a four percent showing in Nevada, and polls showing Edwards with some 13 percent in the next Democratic primary, South Carolina, the hard question facing Edwards now is: Does Edwards want to split the anti-Clinton vote among Democrats in what appears to be a losing candidacy?
Better to endorse prior to Super Tuesday than after.
