Florida Going After Andrew Meyer

Looks like the idiots that be in Florida wish to charge taser victim Andrew Meyer, likely with felony resisting arrest.

From Meyer's website:

Charged, Seeking Witnesses
Note: This is not an official statement by Andrew Meyer or anyone directly representative of Andrew Meyer.

Andrew Meyer is no longer in jail, but was unjustly arrested for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest with violence. If you have any information regarding this incident, such as:

- You were present and witness to the event.

- You have any audio or video relating directly to the event or of the forum prior to the event

Please send an email including your contact information to FreeAndrewMeyer@gmail.com.

  1. I think it is great that they are going to charge Andrew Meyer. He did not intend to just ask a question. He wanted to create a scene and record it on video to promote himself.

His email address says it all: famouswriterman. That is what he wants to be and will try to become famous whether he earns it. or better yet, can get famous by acting like a 4 year old.

Unfortunately, his parents never let him know that yelling, shrieking, screaming, and jumping up and down, pitching himself against the door to drive himself back into the room and taking down people with him, was an unacceptable way to get attention.

If they had even taught him that you do not attack guards when you are in the same room with a U.S. Senator, would have been a good idea. You also do not mistreat people by yelling, pushing, shoving, picking up.

He never even learned, after more than 15 years of education, that when you ask a question, you then listen to the answer.

Did he ever hear about not interrupting? Or taking his place in line?

How this university has allowed such an uneducated person to continue for four years, makes me think that it is not a very good place to get an education.

Employers will certainly think less of those who graduate from this facility now that they know what kind of students show up at the top of the news there, as well as write the news for their campus newspaper.

He apparently never got the part about learning to be an adult, even though he is a senior in college, and 21 years old. Just in case Mr. Meyers missed it, he has been an adult since he was 18.

How long does he think he can fool people into believing that he should be able to throw tantrums to get away with his behavior? Or to become famous.

We can see you Mr. Meyer. We know that you are a full grown adult. We know that you towered over the security guards around you. We know that when a guy closer to your size tried to remove you, you screamed like a baby, then kicked back into the room taking them down.

Maybe Mr. Meyer fooled a few people, but it just makes them look foolish also, for not realizing what was going on.

Maybe he can join Fred Phelps group. They also love to get attention by being obnoxious. They go to funerals of dead soldiers and protest that God killed them because of gay people in America. That should fit in well with the kind of antics Mr. Meyer enjoys.

  2. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. The police had NO Right to do that to Andrew. How did THEY know it wasn't a legitimate question to HIM? They didn't. Are they suppose to just ask questions after they taser him? Lots of people including a Georgia man this week have been killed by taser. Sorry but America used to be great because we could all speak out in dissent and diversity. IF that looks obnoxious to you well maybe you should look in the mirror. Your comment degrades and belittles the very importance of freedom of speech.
