Madison, Wisconsin —The continuing Republican give-away of Wisconsin waters to industrialized and polluting agricultural interests has predictably negative consequences.

The immediate and perhaps most-alarming effect is on ground and surface water, and on human and other life depending on water.

Befouling and depleting water is madness.

Below is a Wisconsin map of Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations, (CAFOs or industrialized agricultural factories) and the proximity of impaired waters.

Not geographical proximity, spacial proximity. Where there are CAFOs, there are impaired waters — ground water, drinking water, surface waters.

The relationship between CAFOs and impaired waters is a causal relationship.
