D-Day, When Service Was Not Questioned

Wesley Captain guards a
concentration camp
Today, people all over the world will honor those who began what President Obama declares is "democracy's beachhead."

You can be sure that those who served, those who became POWS, never had their service questioned.

It's not like that anymore.

Republicans will do and say almost anything.

One man who served is the late Wesley Captain of Wisconsin Rapids.

Like 100,000s who liberated Europe, Captain landed at Normandy, and then ended up in Patton's Third Army.

In his service Captain helped liberate a concentration camp.

He never came back the same.

No one, not even a Republican, would dare question his service.

Today, Republicans are the White Party of nihilism.
